Progress in the construction of Suzhou Zhongnan Center

Suzhou Zhongnan Center is the tallest building under construction in China. The vertical support of this project adopts 320 concrete filled steel tubular columns and piles.

The construction of Zhongnan Center started from 20 14 and 13, and finally the pile foundation construction was successfully completed. By the end of the day, all the pile drivers in the Central South Center had left the site, leaving only five diaphragm walls, 9 1 RJP piles and subsequent post-grouting construction. The pit bottom reinforcement equipment was in place, and the Central South Center was making rational use of time and space to ensure the smooth completion of the remaining projects.

It is understood that Suzhou Zhongnan Center is located in the core area of Jinji Lake West CBD in Suzhou. It is the center and commanding height of the city skyline of the West CBD, and forms a whole with the Oriental Gate and Suzhou Central Square under construction, forming a unified image of urban architecture facing Jinji Lake. The total construction area of the project is about 500,000 square meters, with 138 floors above ground and 5 floors underground. The cornice is 598 meters high and the highest point of the tower crown is 729 meters, which is the tallest building under construction in China. Based on the concept of building a green, ecological, intelligent, efficient and multifunctional super-high-rise complex, the project will be built into a modern large-scale complex integrating sightseeing, seven-star hotels, top-class apartments, international 5A-level office buildings and world-class businesses. Upon completion, it will be a new business card of Suzhou City, leading Suzhou Industrial Park to become a modern international new city with international competitiveness.
