Travel notes of kaishan island

In early summer, the grass grows and the warblers fly. On June 9th, at the invitation of Yao and Xue Dongping, the 77th old classmates of Aviation School, five of us drove from Lianshui to Guannan and arrived at the party hotel in the morning 1 1. The old classmates have been separated for many years, and the meeting is particularly cordial. They talked and laughed on the wine table, from career to family, from life to health, and even the love affair of a certain classmate ... everything. In the afternoon, Yao generously invited us to sing in the karaoke bars. Everyone took advantage of the unrestrained drunkenness and rushed to present their old songs. The atmosphere is very warm and pleasant. The next day, at the kind invitation of Yao and other students, we drove to Kaishan Island, 50 kilometers away from Guannan.

Starting from Guannan county at 7: 00 in the morning, I drove for nearly an hour. I arrived at the harbor pier and changed to a speedboat for Kaishan Island. Sailing boats are two ultra-fine products, especially good at sailing on water, deliberately sailing fast, the yacht bumps up and down, the sea water splashes everywhere, and the bow is pushed to the wave many times and landed heavily on the sea. For those of us who have walked through the stormy waves of the Yangtze River, we have long been accustomed to this kind of turbulence, but several female compatriots on board were still scared to sit up straight in the cabin.

The ship will arrive at Kaishan Island in about twenty minutes. Looking at the island, the water and sky are the same, seagulls gather together, stroll along the mountain trails, the sea breeze blows gently, and the waves burst, which is poetic and picturesque. There are beacon towers, more than 50 former garrison barracks, caves and water storage tanks on the island. We visited Wang Erlang Temple, National Shame Monument and Yuntiguan with great interest, and took photos with them respectively.

According to historical records, Kaishan Island, also known as Tongqian Mountain, is located in the Yellow Sea outpost of China, 9.5 kilometers away from the Guanhekou, with an area of only 0.0 13 square kilometers. It is a strategic place for national defense and is called "Potala Palace at Sea". There are many caves on the island, like a maze, reciprocating and deep. Although there are no tall trees in Kaishan Island, it is also a natural home for birds. In Guanhekou, which echoes Kaishan Island, it is said that during the leap year of the lunar calendar in July and August, many big fish flocked from Haikou to Guanhe with the high tide and turned back to Longwang Temple. This is the traditional spectacle of "big fish worshiping Wang Long". There are many beautiful legends in Kaishan Island. It is said that Erlangdan Mountain drove the sun across the irrigation river, dropped a stone and grew into an island. After the vicissitudes of life, the island is shaded by trees, the fragrance is fragrant, and the smoke in the kitchen is curled up. One day, a big ship full of copper coins passed by here, and a turtle made waves. Seeing that the boat was about to sink, the boat people found the island, so they tried their best to drive the boat under the island and move the copper coins to the cave on the island to hide. The turtle sneaked into the island in the middle of the night and sprayed poison gas, killing all the people and trees on the island. Since then, this magnificent island has become a bare hill. Many years later, an old couple often went fishing near the island. One day, when they were about to close the net, a strong wind blew and set off a huge wave. The old man finally rocked the fishing boat to the island and boarded it to take shelter from the wind, and soon fell asleep because of fatigue. It was midnight when I woke up, and the old couple were shivering with cold. The old man stood up and exercised with a reed pole. Suddenly, a hole more than one person high was opened in the mountain behind him. It's dark and I can't see anything clearly. The old couple want to go to the cave to escape the cold. After only a few steps, there was a metal crash under their feet. The old man reached for a few pieces. He was completely blind. It turned out to be copper coins. The old couple forgot the fatigue and cold and moved out the copper coins in piles. The sun came out and the sea was calm again. The old couple shook the boat full of copper coins off the island and returned to the fishing village. Later, the fishermen got the treasure according to the old man's instructions. The island is found, but the hole is gone. It turns out that the reed pole in the old man's hand is the key to open the cave door. When the old man left, he left it in the cave. Although people found many thick reed stalks and tried to open the door of the cave, they were all disappointed. Since then, people have called this nameless island Tongqian Mountain. Later, people hoped to get the copper coins in the belly of the mountain and renamed the island Kaishan Island.

At the end of the morning 10 tour, the speedboat left Kaishan Island and looked back at the white waves and drifting islands at the stern. Our mood can't be calm for a long time. The customs and scenery of Kaishan Island left an unforgettable impression on us, especially for swimming with old classmates we haven't seen for many years.
