Rowen is an action comedy directed by Jing Wong and starring Jet Li and Jacky Cheung. It was released in Hongkong, China on July 1995.

The film tells the story of Li Jie, a special police officer, who witnessed the tragic death of his wife and children, resigned from public office and pursued the murderer while performing his duties.

Plot:

Li Jie (Jet Li), an expert in blasting, once witnessed his wife and children being beaten to death because of his misjudgment in performing his duties. Heartbroken, he resigned from public office, while looking for the murderer of his wife and children. At the same time, he assumed a bold name, worked as a bodyguard for Emperor Rowen (Jacky Cheung) and body double, and performed desperate scenes for him from time to time. There is no clue except remembering the murderer's voice.

TV host Le Hui Zhen (Chingmy Yau) suspects Rowen's performance, so she follows him day and night. Rowen was invited to attend a large jewelry exhibition. The gangster who calls himself a doctor (kelvin wong) plans to steal the diamond ornaments from the exhibition, and sends his assistant Zhu Fei (Zhou Jialing) to do public relations and undercover work in the hotel.

On the day of the diamond show, Li Jie escorted Rowen to the scene and left. On the way home, he overheard the doctor's voice in the car, so he went back to chase the gangsters in desperation and staged a life-and-death scuffle.
