Jinshan District, a suburb of southwest Shanghai, is located in the south of the Yangtze River in China and on the south bank of the upper reaches of Huangpu River, bordering Fengxian District in the east, Songjiang District and Qingpu District in the north, and Pinghu and Jiashan in Zhejiang Province in the west.
