Need to check the crowd

If you are a resident of China and want to stay in the UK for at least six months from 20 13 12 3 1, then before applying for a visa, you must have a check-up in a designated hospital and be confirmed that you are not infected with tuberculosis. If you plan to stay in the UK for less than six months, you don't need to do this test unless you apply for a fiance (wife) visa for half a year (this kind of visa must be checked). Detection of pulmonary tuberculosis in children

If you are the parent or guardian of a child under 1 1, you must lead your child to complete the personal health analysis questionnaire in the designated hospital. Clinicians will decide whether your child needs to be tested for tuberculosis according to the situation. For children who don't need testing, the doctor will give you a certificate. Designated testing hospital

You must be examined in a hospital designated by the Ministry of the Interior. Tests conducted in unauthorized hospitals will not be recognized. Please explain that you need to apply for a British visa test. You will receive a notice from the hospital within a few days of applying for the test.

How long will the inspection take?

If the X-ray results are uncertain, you will be arranged to collect saliva samples (expectoration from the lungs). The saliva test will take two months to get the results.

The X-ray examination fee is RMB in 550 yuan, and the examination fee does not include the treatment fee after the diagnosis of tuberculosis.

Receiving test results

After the standard test, as long as your chest X-ray results are normal, you will soon get the test results and the certificate issued by the hospital. If the test result is uncertain, you need to do sputum test (mucus coughed up by the lungs), and the results will be given two months later. If there is no tuberculosis, you will get a certificate valid for 6 months, and then you need to submit it with your visa application.

If you are diagnosed with tuberculosis, you can't get the corresponding certificate. The clinician will give you relevant treatment advice for six months. During this period, you will not be able to apply for a British visa until you can prove that you have participated in treatment and recovered.

If you have got the confirmed school OFFER or CAS, you can go to the physical examination, and the physical examination report is valid for 6 months.

You need to bring a one-inch photo of yourself and the English name, contact address and zip code of the school when you have a physical examination. I'm not sure whether the school should have a physical examination.

For British students, we have to apply for two medical certificates, one is the red version of the international travel health certificate, and the other is the yellow version of the international vaccination certificate. The former is similar to the physical examination items we usually do, including blood pressure, pulse, vision, otolaryngology, heart examination and so on. The latter is vaccination against certain diseases.

It should be noted that not all medical centers in any hospital can provide physical examinations that meet the requirements of going to the UK. You need to contact the local entry-exit physical examination center, consult clearly and bring your ID card, passport, photos and cash for physical examination. Physical examination needs to be done on an empty stomach, so the sooner you arrive, the better.

There is also a physical examination that must be provided when applying for a student visa, which is the tuberculosis examination. The inspection results should be submitted at the same time when applying for a visa.

Similarly, this kind of examination is not available in any hospital, but is designated by the British Home Office and requires an appointment before going.

At present, there are 14 cities in China that can provide tuberculosis examination, namely Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Fuzhou, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Harbin, Jinan, Nanjing, Shanghai, Shenyang, Shenzhen, Wuhan and Xi 'an. The specific locations where physical examinations can be provided in various cities can be found on official website.
