Fujian Industrial School was founded in 1978. It was formerly known as the former Fujian Fifth Industrial School and was affiliated to the Fujian Provincial Office of National Defense Science, Technology and Industry. It was renamed Fujian Industrial School in 1993 and transferred to the Fujian Provincial Department of Education in 2000. It is a public national key secondary vocational school. ?

The school covers an area of ??130 acres, has more than 5,000 students, a library of 125,000 books, and 21 majors.
