How to integrate into the travel of local people and how to integrate into the local experience.
First, go to the vegetable market.
Usually at home, I will go to the vegetable market with my mother on weekend mornings. This is a very happy thing. When I was a child, I felt bored and occupied the time of sleeping and playing. Now I think I can go shopping with my mother, see what to eat for dinner on weekends and help her carry it home. I am very happy and satisfied. Unexpectedly, my mother brought this habit to the journey.
1, I ran into a busy vegetable market-Hong Kong when I got lost.
Ten years ago, I went to Hong Kong for the first time and got up at five o'clock on the last day. Before dawn, I went to the nearby market to have a look. I wanted to feel the local atmosphere. Just sent the egg tart into the stove, the lively vegetable market, and the night market stall where I started to clean up. However, because I was in a hurry, I saw that the market was just passing by in a hurry, and I probably got to know it.
This time I went to Hong Kong with my mother, and we wanted to go downstairs for a walk that night. There is a small park opposite the hotel, where people can be seen running and playing every day. So we went downstairs and started walking around the small park called "Cherry". The more you walk, the more enjoyable you are, and the farther you go. Then we got lost beautifully. We were as brave as me, without navigation or even the Internet.
On the way back, I passed a market with bright lights and full atmosphere. My heart is as big as a woman. I'm not nervous or angry in an instant. Don't forget to give me a hand when you get lost.
Shop after shop, aquatic products are still trying to operate, and other shops are closed. During the Chinese New Year, seafood is always popular because it looks like us. Looking at the price and quality of parallel imports, I really can't help wanting to buy some hot pot.
The market in Sheung Wan is also good. During the Chinese New Year, some stalls are also open and some are still resting.
The vegetable market is really a good place to quickly understand a city's people's livelihood and public tastes.
2. Supermarkets in Taiwan Province Province
In addition to 7- 1 1, Watsons, Lyle Fu and other beauty supermarkets in Taiwan Province Province, there is also a supermarket called "Top Good", which I saw in Taipei this time. Just like our hometown Yonghui, it specializes in vegetables, fruits and meat, which is very life-oriented. So we see that there are many kinds of yogurt, and a large jar of yogurt is only 60 Taiwan dollars, which is cheap and good. There are also many kinds of fruits. We enjoyed the lotus spray, five of which cost 79 Taiwan dollars. There is a lot of meat, and the supermarket is also inviting everyone to eat hot pot during the Spring Festival.
In Taipei, I passed a vegetable market-Hope Square, but because it was closed for the New Year, every time I passed by, it was empty and super quiet.
Second, chat with local people.
1, Siem Reap driver
It was a wise choice to rent a car in Siem Reap, so we rented a car and took us around various historical sites. On the first day, the driver from Guangdong province spoke Chinese and gave us an overview of the current situation in Cambodia. For example, the products almost came from neighboring Thailand, and Cambodia was actually very poor. How much is the wedding gift, wedding customs, etc. The next day, Xiang's cousin Punk, a young man, learned a little about China fur. Every time we talk to him, he will turn around and listen to us with a smile, scaring us half to death. After the third day, the driver Wei took us to the airport. He is Xiang's friend and is learning Chinese. He is a simple and dark young man. Wei will also share some feelings of Angkor's destruction and exchange his inner thoughts.
Very lovely Wei, the green box is ice water for us to drink.
2. Table next to Lianxianglou
The first time I went to Lianxianglou was ten years ago. I went to an authentic old Hong Kong restaurant. Business is particularly good in the morning. Local people, mainly some elderly customers, like to come here. They sat for a long time, drinking tea, chatting and reading newspapers. They can also say a few words on unfamiliar tables. When I was satisfied, I began to choose a few cages of my own refreshments to start breakfast, but it was not an exaggeration to have lunch at that time. At the table where we sat, there was an aunt in her fifties and sixties, which was very interesting. She reads newspapers, then chats and drinks tea. We thought she had all eaten. It was not until we finished drinking tea that she ordered a bowl of chicken oil rice and ate it in a special way. She took Jiang Rong, who had been touched with chicken before, to bibimbap, take a big bite and then eat chicken, which really showed me a new world.
I went to Lianxianglou this time, and the location and decoration of the store haven't changed. I went early on purpose, but it was even more crowded. I don't know.
There are some old Hong Kong people sitting at my table. Next to him is a fashion uncle, drinking tea leisurely, staring blankly, and occasionally chatting with people next to him. Seeing us seated, we were a little reserved at first, and then we took the initiative. When the tea was served, he asked me to get it. That's delicious. He took a yam slice and rolled ribs himself, and took a picture of me specially. Then we naturally talked about local customs. I saw older waiters wearing uniform white coats and old-fashioned tea styles. The most distinctive thing is that many good red envelopes are stuffed in your pockets. My uncle next to me also gave a red envelope to a waiter he knew very well. They still have this custom in the plateau. During the New Year in China, shops are closed from the first day to the third day. Most of them open on the fourth day, and old customers will come to the door for tea and refreshments one after another. Yes, everyone pays attention to good luck. When I got a little upset, my uncle specially asked us to get it. That's steamed trotters with Nostoc flagelliforme. He said it won't be available until today, a year later. Nostoc flagelliforme means making a fortune. I asked my uncle if he was still resting today. He said he was working. I looked at the clock and knew what time it was. Then my uncle said to himself, I come here for breakfast every morning, sit until almost ten o'clock and walk to the company. My own company is near here. Ah, so is his uncle next to him. After drinking morning tea, they became friends and sat together to chat every morning. In a blink of an eye, decades have passed.
