About accommodation

Generally speaking, Jiuhua Mountain will not go back and forth on the same day, except by bus to road trip. I always stay for three or two days when I think about how difficult it is to worship Buddha. I stayed for two nights this time, the first night at the foot of the mountain and the second night at Jiuhua Street. This arrangement is more reasonable. If you plan to visit Jiuhua Mountain for more than two days, it is recommended to live at the foot of the mountain first and then on the mountain. After all, it takes half an hour to go up the mountain every day, and it is more complicated to go through the formalities twice.

On the first night, my companion and I stayed at Jiuhuashan Central Hotel at the foot of the mountain, a four-star hotel, not far from the main entrance of Jiuhuashan Scenic Area. These rooms are functional, clean and relatively cost-effective.

The golden phoenix Hotel in Jiuhua Street is also a good hotel the next day, but there are many hotels in Jiuhua Street, so you'd better compare them before making a choice.

About food

Huizhou cuisine is one of the eight major cuisines in China, which originated from the local flavor of Huizhou mountainous area. Anhui cuisine is elegant, simple, crisp, tender, fragrant and fresh. It is famous for cooking delicious food and game. It is always unreasonable to go to Jiuhua Mountain without tasting authentic Huizhou cuisine.

They are all authentic farm dishes, specially served. It looks delicious. When this dish of small fish was served on the table, all of us smelled a bad smell and asked if it was mandarin fish, but the result was not.

I've always liked Anhui cuisine, and its uniqueness focuses on kung fu dishes that are good at cooking, stewing, smoking and steaming. The use of different cooking techniques in different dishes is an important symbol of Huizhou chefs' achievements.

As a Buddhist holy land, Jiuhua Mountain is also a must-see place for vegetarians. When you come here, you must try vegetarian food. Jiuhuashan vegetarian food is processed from ecological food, which is green, healthy and delicious.

We had a very satisfying meal, and finally we had some snacks. If you have a good understanding of food, you can make a good strategy before coming and go straight to your destination. If you want to eat some home-cooked Anhui dishes like us, you might as well follow your luck and eat wherever you go.
