Hotel teamwork

The operation department and the catering department are two important departments of the hotel. During the operation of the hotel, we should actively communicate and cooperate to provide quality services for the guests.

1. Communication and cooperation between the Operation Department and the Food and Beverage Department.

2. When the operation department receives the telephone, telex, fax, telegram and letter from domestic and foreign customers about catering reservation, it shall fill in the relevant notice and send it to the catering department for banquet reservation.

3. For important guests who are treated with fruits, flowers, snacks, cakes, drinks or foreign wine, the Sales Department shall fill in the "Power of Attorney for Life" and sign it by the Executive Vice President, and submit it to the Food and Beverage Department for implementation.

4. If the Operation Department needs free discount meals for special teams and individual customers, it shall be submitted to the Food and Beverage Department for implementation after being approved by the General Manager.

5. If there are major promotional activities or business activities in the hotel restaurant, the sales department should send a task notice to the restaurant in advance, coordinate the task execution and prepare a memorandum.

6. The Operation Department shall promptly notify the Food and Beverage Department of the orders, large-scale cocktail parties, banquets and other related tasks received.

7. The public relations department is responsible for assisting the Food and Beverage Department in designing and producing advertisements, banners, decorations, leaflets, etc. for various food and beverage promotion activities in the business premises.

8. For the guests whose room rate includes breakfast, the Front Office Department shall issue breakfast vouchers printed by the Food and Beverage Department to the guests when they register, and eat in the restaurant designated on the vouchers. If they are group guests, they should also ask the team leader or escort about the breakfast time for the next day when they check in, and inform the food and beverage department in time.

9. For the flavor meals booked by group guests, the Front Office Department should send a copy of the power of attorney to the Food and Beverage Department when accepting the reservation, and ask about the dining place. When group guests check in, they should inform the team leader or accompanying personnel of the dining place in time. If there is any change in the number of diners, you should immediately notify the Food and Beverage Department. If the front office accepts public reservations, it should inform the Food and Beverage Department and send someone to determine the food standards, dishes and banquet activities.

10. The Front Office Department should send VIP guest arrival and departure reports to the Food and Beverage Department every morning.
