Do I need compensation for taking blood from the hotel?

Legal analysis: First of all, blood stained on hotel sheets belongs to improper use by customers and needs to bear tort liability. When guests check into the hotel, the contractual relationship between them has been established. From the point of view of contract equivalence, customers have the obligation to take care of the facilities and supplies provided by the hotel. If the customer has abnormal wear and tear on the hotel facilities during the use, which brings extra workload to the hotel, it is reasonable for the service provider to negotiate with the customer and charge a certain fee.

Legal basis: Article 1 179 of the Civil Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) infringes on others and causes personal injury, it shall compensate the reasonable expenses of treatment and rehabilitation such as medical expenses, nursing expenses, transportation expenses, nutrition expenses, hospital food subsidies, and the reduced income due to absenteeism. If it causes disability, it shall also compensate for the cost of assistive devices and disability compensation; If death is caused, funeral expenses and death compensation shall also be paid.
