This diary is about the fifth grade of primary school. The title is: "Journey to Israel - Hanging Garden (2)". Everyone is welcome to contribute.
Israel is located in western Asia and is the junction of the three continents of Asia, Africa and Europe. The coast is a long and narrow plain, and there are mountains and plateaus in the east. Israel is bordered by Lebanon to the north, Syria and Jordan to the east, and Egypt to the south. Israel has a coastline connected to the Mediterranean Sea in the west and the Gulf of Eilat in the south. Speaking of which, I would like to introduce our tour guide. Our tour guide is 68 years old. He is an Israeli-Chinese and has been working here for more than 30 years. He graduated from Hebrew University with a Ph.D. and is a pastor. We call him Teacher Zhang, and we also call him Pastor Zhang. Pastor Zhang is a very humble, knowledgeable and funny person, and we all respect him very much.

Next, drive to Haifa to visit the Baha’i Hanging Gardens. Haifa is the third largest city in Israel, second only to Jerusalem. and Tel Aviv. Along the way, I was imagining, how could a garden be built in the air? It's really unimaginable. When the hanging garden appeared in front of us, we realized that the so-called hanging garden is actually a garden built on the hillside according to the mountain. Haifa is the location of the Israeli naval base. The Baha'i Garden is said to be the most expensive garden in the world. We also passed the security check when we entered.
The Baha'i Hanging Garden is a strip of terraced gardens, one kilometer long from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain, with a height difference of more than 200 meters. The best angle to appreciate the hanging gardens is from the top of the mountain. The garden is so beautiful and spectacular, and so ingenious that everyone who sees it is amazed. The unique design, exquisite craftsmanship, and majestic momentum are shocking and incredible. The Baha'i Hanging Garden is really an earth-shattering great project. The central axis of the garden is a terrace-like staircase, which is paved with white marble and has a noble temperament. Lightings and flowerpots are used as parapets on both sides of the stairs, which is very poetic. Each step has a platform, which is paved with uniform orange fine gravel. The texture is smooth, like a plastic runway, and is surrounded by marble fences. The orange ground is decorated with flower beds with different shapes and styles. The eight-pointed star flower bed is the most eye-catching. It is also decorated with green trees and pools. The patterns are beautiful and exquisite. There is a cast iron gate in the middle of the platform fence. Between the terraces and on both sides of the stairs, the sloping lawns are beautifully laid out and also made into terraces. The light green of the grass, the dark green of the trees, the orange of the terraces, the white of the fence, and the fiery red of the flowers form a brocade-like gorgeous pattern. Its solemnity and splendor are truly incomparable. The terraced garden has nineteen floors. It borders the Mediterranean Sea to the west and Mount Carmel in the back. It is one of the eight wonders of the world. During this trip, my grandma gave me a gift - a camera. I took a lot of beautiful photos with my camera.
Leaving the Sky Garden and getting on the bus to the next stop, I lay on the bus window and looked curiously at the scenery along the way. It was so beautiful! The houses in Israel are all built with khaki stones, and there are many of them. The houses are all built on the mountain. From a distance, they look well-proportioned and very majestic. There was a red light ahead, and among the people crossing the road, I spotted a lot of weirdly dressed people. These people all wore black dresses, very exaggerated black fur hats on their heads, and two long braids on their sideburns. The ladies and children were also dressed in black and white. The tour guide told us that this is a Jewish residential area. These people wear traditional clothes that have not changed for thousands of years. They do this all year round, so they are also called extreme Jews. The tour guide said that there are two families crossing the road now. You can count how many children they have, 1, 2, 3, 4... I was counting, and then the tour guide sang, Duo, come, Mi, Fa, Suo, La, Xi, seven children! The other family is Doremifa, with four children. We were surprised how they had so many children! Our guide told us that they were to “be fruitful and multiply and fill the land.

Climbing to the top of Mount Carmel, you will see the blue sky, blue sea, white clouds, and the poetic and dreamlike scenery of the romantic Mediterranean. In front of us. Driving along the beautiful northern road, we came to our next stop - Nazareth. To be precise, we just visited a village in Nazareth, where Jesus lived. Israel is the birthplace of the three major religions. There are many churches here, and each church has a story. The various churches have different architectural styles and unique characteristics. Here, we met the shepherd leading a group of sheep. There are also a few children grazing. Nazareth is an Arab residential area, so their clothes are very special, much like people in ancient times. It is difficult to communicate because of the language barrier (they speak Hebrew), but they are very friendly. The old man who shepherded the sheep was very kind and happy to see us. He took many photos with us and gave me a small oil lamp as a souvenir when he left.

At the end of the day, I was really tired but also very excited. We stayed at the hotel by the sea in Tiberias. I was still thinking about the beautiful scenery of the hanging garden while lying on the bed. My mother said that she would go there at five o'clock tomorrow. Wake up early to take pictures of the sunrise over the Tiberian Sea
