Can I get a special ticket for hotel accommodation?

According to official website, the national laws and regulations website, hotel accommodation can open special tickets. According to Article 19 of the Measures for the Administration of Invoices in People's Republic of China (PRC), when units and individuals sell goods, provide services and engage in other business activities, the payee shall issue invoices to the payer. Hotels that provide accommodation services to customers should issue special VAT invoices.
