Why do many people say that staying in a youth tour is not serious, so why go to a hotel if it is serious?

Prejudice.

Personally, I am a deep young traveler. After traveling for several years, I was as warm as myself, as lively as a bar, both at home and abroad, in the youth tours in big cities and in small towns in rural areas. Basically, I can say that I have visited flowers all over the world.

This is the case for most youth brigades, with various room types and price choices (such as big bed room/tatami/double room/quadruple room/six room/ten room/mixed bed/sofa bed, etc.). ), as well as a large area of public space (table games/oversized terrace/open kitchen, etc.). ), and then live mostly young people, mostly backpackers.

Choosing to live in youth travel is definitely not just because of the low price. In fact, many youth hostels have designed expensive big bed rooms or suites in order to meet the guests with high accommodation requirements. In the eyes of many people, "indecent" bed rooms no longer take the route of "low price and low quality", but pay more and more attention to the privacy and comfort of guests on the premise of appropriate price increase, and there are also many ceiling lamps, curtains and cabinets.

So, why do most people choose to live in youth travel? Because youth travel is more in line with those people's expectations for travel. When traveling is no longer just a cursory look at the camera card, we have expectations for the journey besides the scenic spots. We want to meet many friends, chat and drink with them all night, eat and travel with them, experience many people's lives, share many past stories and pour out ourselves in a strange place.

While staying in a hotel, it is true that we will have more private space and better service, but we lose the opportunity to communicate with strangers. Because the hotel is relatively empty and distant, even if you stay for a week, you will not say hello to the young people you meet in the corridor, so the accommodation is really just a sleep. When we don't like this state, we can choose youth travel. Naturally communicate with many people, eat midnight snack with the stall downstairs, and buy a case of wine to stay up late.

This is the journey I want. You can say that I am not serious, but you need to understand that being a "serious" person is not something that deserves your sense of superiority.
