Thoughts after watching Treasure Island.

After reading Treasure Island:

After reading the novel Treasure Island, I was deeply inspired and the content was wonderful, which made me very happy. Jim, the hero of this book, has a series of events about the old captain Bill in his shop. After the old captain died, Jim found a treasure map on Bill. After that, he and Dr. Levi's began a treasure hunt.

From the middle to the end, Jim and the doctor outsmarted the rebels, and Jim took the risk alone. The combat part is well written. After reading this book, I feel a lot. I think greed is the enemy of life. Silver, the rebel leader in the article, is willing to kill for money. Those rebellious sailors are greedy. Plus they drink when they are free on the boat. When you get drunk, you start killing each other.

I admire little hero Jim very much. He is very brave and fearless of adults (bad guys) and crises. In every personal adventure, he always brings benefits to doctors and them. In the battle with the boatswain, he defeated his men with wit and courage. He is so brave. This book is really nice. It has vivid scenes, tense plots and beautiful stories, so I love reading this book.

Creative background:

Treasure Island is about a real historical background. Corcos Island, a desert island in the book, is located in the Pacific Ocean, 483 kilometers away from the coast of Costa Rica. This was once a rest stop for pirates in the17th century. Pirates often load, unload and bury their plundered treasures here, thus adding a lot of mystery to this small island with beautiful flowers and birds. It is said that there are at least six treasures buried on the island.

1820, Lima was still a Spanish colony. When the revolutionary army led by the Peruvian national hero Bolí var, known as the "liberator", was about to attack Lima, the Spanish governor of Lima fled hastily and boarded a sailboat named "Marie Deere" to escape the treasures he had plundered for many years, including golden candlesticks, golden plates and life-size gold statues of the Virgin Mary.

Unexpectedly, at the seaside, the captain made a fortune and killed the Spanish governor. To be on the safe side, the captain put the treasure in a mysterious cave on Cocoa Island.

In the later days, he never found a suitable opportunity to go back to Cocoa Island and take the treasure. Until 1844, the captain died, leaving only a treasure map that was difficult to distinguish between true and false. It is against this background that Stevenson created Treasure Island.
