Can Hong Kong and Macao Pass stay in hotels in China?

According to the Regulations on Household Registration in People's Republic of China (PRC) and other relevant laws and regulations, those who stay in hotels, hotels, guest houses, homestays and other business service places that can provide accommodation can apply for accommodation registration with the Hong Kong and Macao Pass as a valid identity document.

Pass is divided into individual travel, group travel, visiting relatives, business, other, stay and other categories.

Hong Kong and Macao Pass Processing Process

For the first time, you must submit your application in person to the exit-entry administration office where your account is located. The application materials include: resident ID card and its copy (copied on A4 paper, which can be copied on the same paper), filling out the Application Form for Entry and Exit Certificate of China Citizens, and 2 2 2-inch light-colored photos (or taking photos on site at your own expense). At the same time, you can apply for endorsements to Hong Kong and Macao respectively.

If you only go to Hong Kong, you have to apply for a Hong Kong endorsement; if you only go to Macao, you have to apply for a Macao endorsement. If you go to Hong Kong and Macao, you must apply for both endorsements.

The processing time limit is 10 working days from the date of acceptance. Excluding mailing days (usually about five days) and holidays.

The cost of each 80 yuan Pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao; One exchange endorsement, each 15 yuan, two exchange endorsements, each 30 yuan.
