The heads of Kunming Municipal Government and Kunming New Airport Construction Headquarters rushed to the scene at the first time to organize departments such as fire control, public security, medical care and safety production supervision to carry out rescue work.

After careful counting and verification by on-site rescuers, among 19 construction workers at the collapse site, 1 1 was injured and was quickly taken to hospital for treatment. Eight of them were slightly bruised and discharged after examination and treatment, and the other three were hospitalized for observation and treatment, which was not life-threatening.

After three search and rescue investigations organized by public security and fire search and rescue personnel at the scene, it was confirmed that there were no other casualties.

At present, the cause of the accident is under investigation.
