Fly to the famous plateau airport-Lhasa Gongga Airport (3600 meters above sea level). The tour guide will present white Hada to the guests according to the traditional etiquette of the Tibetan people, so that you can feel the deep Tibetan feelings. Then take a bus to the long-awaited holy city of Lhasa. The distance from Gongga Airport to Lhasa is about 100 km, and it takes one and a half hours by car. After 50 minutes, you will see Siddhartha Gautama-Niedang Buddha, a stone sculpture built at the beginning of the century1/kloc-0 (you can stop to take pictures). Tibetan traditional buildings on both sides of the road and colorful flags on the roof have proved to you time and again that you have indeed visited the holy land and your dream has come true! You will arrive in the holy city of Lhasa in thirty minutes. After arriving in Lhasa, check into the hotel and arrange lunch and dinner at or near the hotel. In order to adapt to the local climate and environment, it is best to have a rest in the afternoon. If there is no discomfort, you can go out and experience the night scene of Lhasa at night (but be careful not to exercise vigorously).

Tips: This day is very crucial for the first time visitors to Tibet. Lhasa is 3650 meters above sea level, and its oxygen content is only 65% of that in the mainland. Most guests will have altitude sickness to varying degrees. Besides maintaining a normal state of mind, drinking more water, eating more fruits and having enough rest are the best ways to prevent altitude sickness. I don't drink or smoke, and I don't take a shower that night.

Please give your ID card and return ticket to the tour guide when you arrive in Lhasa, which can be used to buy tickets for Potala Palace and confirm the return flight.

the next day

One-day tour of the Holy City (Barkhor Street, Jokhang Temple, Potala Palace) Dining: Breakfast, Midnight Accommodation: Lhasa.

Visit Potala Palace, a landmark building in Tibet, in the morning. The visit time is about 2-3 hours. The Potala Palace was built in the 7th century, during the period of Songtsan Gampo, the king of Tibet. It is magnificent and a famous world cultural heritage. Since17th century, it has been the residence of the Dalai Lama in Xi and the winter palace for dealing with political and religious affairs. After lunch, visit Jokhang Temple, the central temple of Tibetan Buddhism. The main Buddha statue of Jokhang Temple, built in the 7th century AD, is a twelve-year-old siddhattha gotama. This Buddha statue, blessed by the Buddha himself, is the most sacred in the hearts of Buddhists, and it is called "Jue", which can be relieved at first sight. The periphery of Jokhang Temple is the famous turning road-Barkhor Street. Pilgrims from all over the world gather here, and shops and stalls are everywhere on both sides of the street. Tour guides can arrange free activities to visit Barkhor Street. Go back to the hotel to rest after dinner.

Tip: You will stay outdoors for a long time on this day. Please prepare a sun hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and drinking water. In the evening, if you are interested, you can go to the local Tibetan song and dance party and enjoy the authentic Tibetan traditional customs.

Lhasa-Yangbajing-Lhasa

After breakfast, set off along the Qinghai-Tibet Highway to Yangbajing Geothermal Scenic Area, a famous scenic spot in northern Tibet (200 kilometers round trip). Blue sky, white clouds, snow-capped mountains, grasslands, flocks of cattle and sheep, Mercedes-Benz horses and simple herdsmen will make you completely relaxed. See Nyainqentanglha Snow Mountain to enjoy the spectacular plateau scenery, see Yangbajing geothermal water outlet and Yangbajing geothermal power plant, and enjoy Yangbajing geothermal hot spring at your own expense (outdoor swimming pool 60/ person, indoor swimming pool 80/ person, and high-grade private rooms to choose from). On the way back to Lhasa in the afternoon, you can visit Sang Mu Folk Nature Village at your own expense to learn about the traditional Tibetan life. Go back to the hotel to rest after dinner.

Tips: Yangbajing Scenic Area is 4320 meters above sea level. The wind is very strong and the temperature is very low. Please pay attention to the cold. Due to the poor local dining conditions, lunch is arranged as an open lunch box. If you are not used to it, you can prepare some food first. If you want to get close to herders, you can prepare small gifts such as pencil exercise books.

On the fourth day, after breakfast in Lhasa-Beijing, take a bus to Lhasa Gongga Airport, return to the starting point by flight, and end this trip to Tibet.
