Homo sapiens-that is, our species, the only primitive human in the world, officially entered the world stage 1.6 million years ago, and went out of Africa 70,000 years ago. 1.0000 officially entered the Neolithic Age (later modern homo sapiens) marked by polishing stone tools. However, if you ask me, considering the nature of our species, it is not difficult to guess the reason for the sharp decline of these apes. In fact, the bones of other apes have been found in the fires left by many Homo sapiens caves, which are still relatively primitive. Some places show that Homo sapiens at this time did not kill other human animals simply to supplement protein (so don't believe that the ancients lived in harmony with the environment, these poisoned chicken soup).

After entering the Neolithic Age, agricultural civilization rose and villages and towns began to appear. With a large number of logging and slash-and-burn cultivation, agriculture, livestock raising, residential areas, as well as early political and religious activities and totem worship, obviously need to occupy more natural land. The impact on the natural ecology is immeasurable, and the direct consequence is that the living environment of animals is greatly compressed. Except for the activities of Homo sapiens, China should have a fairly high forest coverage. Perhaps the huge hairy rhinoceros and swollen deer communities are still wandering in the vast land from North China to Guanzhong to Jianghuai Plain, and the big cats are richer, more dangerous and everywhere, waiting for opportunities. ....

After a long time, wild animals become afraid of people. In fact, not only tigers, brown bears, wolves and leopards, but also many beasts in our concept will avoid when they meet people. I saw a documentary. There is a passage in Man's Planet. Masai people in Africa often rob each other of food. The only thing they can do is to walk to the group of teachers who are eating (the explanation is classic: self-confidence is everything).
