In general, the battery is installed inside the electronic door lock, that is, inside the door. Due to the different designs of different brands and models of smart door locks, the battery cover of some smart door locks can be opened directly, while some smart door locks need to be removed with a screwdriver.

No matter what method is used, just open the battery cover, then take out the original battery and replace it with a new one.

Usage of intelligent door lock

1. Replace the battery

When the smart door lock shows that the battery is low, it means that the battery needs to be replaced. Just open the battery cover yourself. Generally, 4 1.5V alkaline AA batteries can be replaced. Most battery covers are located above the rear panel inside the door. Different smart door locks may have different designs.

2. Restore factory settings

Many people habitually forget the management password, but don't worry, you can find the factory management password as long as you master the method of restoring the factory settings. First of all, when the power is turned on, press and hold the initialization button of the smart door lock for more than 3 seconds, and then you will hear a voice prompt: "Restoring, please wait a moment, the password is too simple, please modify the management password in time", indicating that the smart door lock has been initialized successfully. Then enter the administrative password, and then modify the settings again.
