Xishan Waterfall in Furong Resort

Xishan Waterfall is located in the northeast corner of the reservoir. Waterfalls cascade from cliffs. With a drop of more than 100 meters and a width of more than 30 meters, it is the largest natural waterfall in Guangzhou. There is a Dragon King Temple on the cliff, so some people call this waterfall "Dragon Covet". In 1988, the first phase of the Furong Resort was built here. Under the waterfall, the natural landscape is used and artificially transformed to become the largest natural swimming pool in Guangzhou. After years of development, many resort villages with unique and diverse styles have been built around the reservoir, making it a good place for water recreation during summer vacations.
