What are your tips for going to Hefei Park alone?

Having lived in Hefei for several years, I am familiar with many places. Hefei is not a tourist city. It has few mountains and rivers, and not many interesting places. But no matter how ordinary a place is, it still has its beauty, as long as you use your heart to discover the corners you have never touched. The park may be something you ignore. The following is a guide to visiting the park

Binhu Wetland Forest Park

The provincial forest wetland park has the reputation of "Anhui Xixi". The Forest Park is located in the southeast of Baohe District, Hefei City, close to the entrance of the Nanfei River. The existing forest area is 10,250 acres, integrating urban forest, wetland forest and cultural forest, with multiple functions of leisure and sightseeing, recreation and fitness, and science education.

It is a forest park formed by artificially converting farmland into forests. Animal resources are relatively scarce, and most of them are forest-dwelling birds, such as egrets, red-billed gulls, magpies, etc. Most of the plant resources are artificially planted. All in all, the environment here is beautiful, especially in April and May. It is a good place for group outings, riding with friends, two people to enhance their relationship, and one person to relax.

Transportation: Bus guide. On weekends and statutory holidays, you can take BRT No. 1 to Binhu Times Square, and then take Bus No. 42. Bus No. 42 first stops at "Binhu Times Square" and passes through Fangxing Avenue, Baohe Avenue, Yungu Road, and Huanhu Avenue before arriving at the "Binhu Wetland Park" bus station.

Self-driving guide. The first is Huizhou Avenue, which passes through Yungu Road to Huanhu North Road; the second is Old Baohe Avenue, which passes through Beibuwan Road and turns to New Baohe Avenue to reach Huanhu North Road; the third is Susong Road, which passes through Jinxiu Avenue, Huizhou Avenue, and Yungu road to Huanhu North Road.

Bus guide (recommended)

You can take the tourist bus (about 15 kilometers) from Binhu Times Square to Binhu Wetland Forest Park Station. The fare is 30 yuan/one way.

Tickets: The park is free of charge. There are bicycles for rent (single, double, and multi-person, charged by the hour), and there are also electric tour buses that you can ride on if you buy a ticket (the price of an electric bike is 20 for working days and 30 for holidays). In the parking lot of the park, there is a shuttle bus that takes tourists to the Lakeside Pier, where there are tourist yachts and sightseeing boats, offering a view of the lake and mountains of Chaohu Lake and Laoshan Island in the middle of the lake. There are not many places to eat near the wetland forest, and the park is large. It is recommended that friends who travel bring more snacks and drinks.

How to play:

We chose to walk, wherever we go, we want to slowly enjoy the scenery. There are green trees everywhere along the way, and spring scenery is everywhere. Tired from walking, I was ready to find a place to take a rest in the shade. Every small courtyard is carefully designed and contains a lot of culture, full of Jiangnan style.

In addition to natural landscapes, many cultural landscapes are also added to the park. Let everyone learn more about history and culture while browsing the scenery.

Although Binhu Wetland Forest Park is very large, fortunately, there are such sign rows everywhere. With these, Lu Chi is not afraid. Pick up the camera and leave the beauty behind. After exiting the park gate, across the road is Chaohu Lake.

TiPS: Prepare water and bread. In summer, you should bring some mosquito repellent. Don’t wear white clothes. The photos taken will not look good. And it attracts little bugs.
