Jingmen has a long history and rich cultural heritage. After Jingmen became a provincial municipality in 1983, the municipal government began to plan Longquan Park, which was set up in 1986 and opened simply in early 1987. Since the establishment of the park, with the care and support of successive governments and all walks of life, and through the hard work of all cadres and workers, Longquan Park has fully played the role of a public welfare institution, and has become a new comprehensive park with local characteristics and the flavor of the times. It is a place for citizens to relax, entertain, educate, communicate and appreciate beauty, and an important window to reflect the construction of material and spiritual civilization in our city.

Lao Laizi, a famous figure in the Spring and Autumn Period, Huang Tingjian, a great calligrapher in Lu Guimeng in the Tang and Song Dynasties, Saman Bachelor, Lu Jiuyuan, and even the cultural heritage of resisting Japan in modern times. The whole park is surrounded by mountains and waters. Taking Xiangshan Mountain (called Mengshan Mountain before the Southern Song Dynasty) as the center, we have made full use of the unique cultural and natural landscape and geographical location to strive for the realm of "looking at the sky". There are Huaxia Yilin Garden, Languang Pavilion, Laolaizi Villa (Twenty-four Filial Piety Portrait Hall), Filial Piety Pavilion, Guande Pavilion, Yangzhi Pavilion and other scenic spots on the mountain. There are amusement parks, bonsai gardens, gardens, Lu Fuzi Temple, Civilization Lake, showrooms of famous officials in past dynasties, Tang 'an Heritage Museum, Zhang Zizhong Memorial Hall, Yueyuan Pavilion, and four springs of Dragon, Mongolia, Hui and Shun.

The planned area of the park is 78 hectares (including 66 hectares of land ownership in Xiangshan Scenic Area), which is divided into youth activity area, bonsai park, cultural relics area and Xiangshan natural landscape area. At present, it has more than 16 million yuan of fixed assets, 125 cadres and workers, nearly 1 million visitors a year, more than 12 species of plants, more than 1, species of wild animals and 3, kinds of bonsai flowers. Every year, flowers and bonsai exhibitions, Spring Festival gardens, summer cool gardens and scientific, technological, cultural and academic exchanges are held. With the care and support of successive governments, Longquan Park has kept pace with the Times and developed continuously. Since 1989, it has won the honorary titles of the best civilized unit at the municipal level, the civilized unit at the provincial level, and the advanced unit of spiritual civilization construction in the national construction system, and has been included in China Famous Garden.

Huaxia Yilin Garden was built in 1993 to celebrate the 1th anniversary of the founding of the city and hold the Huaxia Yilin Art Festival. It covers an area of five hectares and has an investment of 3.4 million yuan. The Languang Pavilion, composed of two parts, is built on the site of Wangyun Building in the Qing Dynasty in 1986, with three floors and a panoramic view of Jingcheng. 18 statues of contemporary literary celebrities are planned to be selected for the statue group of literary artists, and now there are 24 granite statues of different shapes, including Ma Ji and Mi Nanyang.

Longquan Park covers an area of 28 hectares. It is divided into three major scenic spots: the mountain scenery is mainly centered on the main peak of Xiangshan, including Gangguang Pavilion, Huaxia Yilin Garden, Laolaizi Mountain Villa (with twenty-four filial sons wax museum), Zoo, Xiaoyin Pavilion, Yangzhi Pavilion and the more than 1,-meter-long trail on the east side of Xiangshan. The scenic spot under the mountain consists of three parts: playground, Yizhi Garden and Civilization Lake Cultural Relics Area. There are more than 2 kinds of plants and more than a thousand varieties in the park, and there are more than 3 thousand kinds of flower bonsai. Every year, it holds exhibitions of narcissus, rose and chrysanthemum bonsai in four seasons and garden activities in Spring Festival and midsummer. At the same time, it can also host various exhibitions and other activities. In 1999, it was listed as one of the 1 famous gardens in China.

Longquan Academy, located by the lake of civilization, was built in the 19th year of Emperor Gaozong's reign in Qing Dynasty (AD 1754). It is a well-known institution with a long history in Jianghan. The original layout of the academy consisted of three halls, two halls, two halls and two halls, and two floors were added 13 years later. After China abolished the imperial examination system, Longquan Academy was renamed Longquan Middle School in the thirty-second year of Guangxu (AD 196). Now it is a key middle school in Hubei Province and a key cultural relic protection unit in Jingmen City.

Baihe Pavilion (formerly known as Tingquan Pavilion), Xixin Pavilion, Yudetang, Dongshan Caotang, Chunhua Pavilion, Qiushi Pavilion, Jingyezhai, Lequnzhai and Fangtang Bookstore in Longquan Academy. Looking up from Longquan Academy to the mountainside, there are Yangzhi Pavilion and Guande Pavilion. On the back slope of Longquan, there are two temples of Quanshen and Xishan. Looking at the rainy mountain facing Xiangshan from afar, there is a rain pavilion, Bailong Mountain higher than the rainy mountain, and there are Balong Temple, Lincang Pavilion and Hanting on the mountain. These are also called Longquan Ten Pavilions.

Four clear springs gush at the eastern foot of Xiangshan Mountain in Longquan. The springs flow into Civilization Lake, then into Zhupi River, across the urban area and into the Han River in the east. These are the four famous springs of Xiangshan Mountain in Jianghan: Dragon, Mongolian, Hui and Shun. Mengquan is named after the original Mengshan (the original name of Xiangshan). Hui Quan comes out after Mengquan, because hot springs are more favorable than Mengquan, so it is called Hui Quan. In the 11th year of Qianlong (AD 174), Shuchenglong, a short state, built the Lailong Stone Bridge on the Zhupi River, quarried stones next to the fields, chiseled a spring between Mengquan and Hui Quan, and dug up a tablet with a poem written by Lu Yuan, a well-known army in Jingmen during Xining period of the Southern Song Dynasty: The spring is full of deep merits, the stone is full of water, and the wind and cloud are long. Shu Chenglong named this spring Longquan according to the last sentence of the poem. Shunquan, located in Laolaizi Villa, is a famous dutiful son. In memory of him, this spring was named Shunquan.

Laolaizi Villa is a famous Chinese philosopher and founder of Taoist school in the Spring and Autumn Period. It is one of the "three sets and eight scenic spots" in Jingmen history. The villa covers an area of .25 hectares. After the construction with an investment of 3.55 million yuan in 1993, it was opened on a trial basis. It was divided into a main hall, a side hall and an east and west gate. In the hall, "Laolaizi's colorful entertainment for his parents" and "Xiaogan moving the sky" were displayed. It is a position for studying Laozi and carrying out traditional moral education for the general public.

Lu Fuzi Temple, also known as Lu Wen 'an Temple, is a famous Neo-Confucianism and educator in the Southern Song Dynasty. Lu Jiuyuan rebuilt the place where Jing gave lectures in 1993 on the basis of a stone-wood courtyard house in the Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty, with an investment of 1.217 million yuan. There are now famous official showrooms and Zhang Zizhong Memorial Hall in Jingmen. The bonsai garden was built in 1993 on the ruins of Tang 'an Ancient Temple and Yizhiyuan in Jingmen history, covering an area of 1 hectare.
