Sometimes the mother turtle has to go ashore several times before giving birth. Lonely green turtles used to be frequent visitors along the coast of China. From Shandong in the north to Hainan in the south, the whole sea area of China has left their footprints. However, in recent years, there are few turtles. In addition to Huidong Turtle Bay, the only turtle reserve in Chinese mainland, green turtles can be seen landing to lay eggs all year round. There are hundreds of young turtles that have just hatched for a few months. Their immature shells are not enough to resist natural enemies, but the pliers of sand crabs and the sharp mouths of seabirds are enough to make them smash to pieces. In the vast sea, adult turtles have almost no natural enemies except humans, but the survival rate of young turtles is not high. Some experts estimate that only one in a thousand turtles have a chance to survive. Therefore, Huidong turtle reserve adopts young turtles and puts them into the sea after artificial breeding. Thousands of turtles adopted over the years lie quietly in the nursery pool of the reserve, including young turtles, one-year-old turtles, two-year-old turtles, three-year-old turtles, nine-year-old turtles and adult turtles. As turtles are solitary animals, they must be fenced off to prevent them from "killing each other". Turtles of different ages are kept separately in the pool. Some are lazy and motionless, while others crawl forward leisurely. Palm-shaped legs support the heavy body, and the silly appearance is very cute. Because of turtles and their guardians, the beautiful beaches in Turtle Bay have become breathtaking. Huizhou Xiangtoushan Xiangtoushan Scenic Area is located in Xiaojinhe Tourism Resources Development Zone in the south-central part of Boluo County, covering an area of 33 square kilometers. It is 0/8km away from Huizhou City/KLOC-in the south and 60km away from Luofu Mountain. Xiangtou Mountain was formed in Cretaceous igneous rocks, with towering rock walls and majestic mountain slopes. There are many mountains in the area, with as many as 165 steep peaks, and the top of the main peak crab eye is 1023 meters above sea level. The bedrock of the mountain forms a unique granite "stone egg" landscape, which is wonderfully stacked and lifelike and spread all over the hillside, the top of the mountain and the riverbed. There are Xiangtouyan, Darenyan, Xiaorenyan, Apoji, Shixintou, Bufo falling into the river, Kamei Sheung Shui and other stone scenes. This area is rich in biological resources. The vegetation coverage rate is over 90%, and there are more than 1500 species. Among them, Ding Feng, Boxwood and many kinds of orchids are more precious. Animals include monkeys, water deer, clouded leopard, pangolin and other protected animals. Xiaojin River, a tributary of Dongjiang River, originates from Xiangtou Mountain, with a total length of 24 kilometers, and flows into Dongjiang from west to east. Rivers in this area are winding and narrow, with a drop of 704 meters. The source of Fanjiatian is 726 meters above sea level, and the lowest turret in the area is only 22 meters above sea level. Due to abundant rainfall, good vegetation and large surface water production, steep slopes and rapids are mostly waterfalls. There are six mountain ponds, small reservoirs and seven cascade hydropower stations along the river. Xiangtou Mountain has mountain scenery, stone scenery, forest scenery and water scenery for sightseeing, while the cloud scenery is borrowed by the West Lake as "Flying Clouds in the Mountain" and listed as one of the scenic spots of the West Lake.
