Can former students with Jingzhou residence take the postgraduate entrance examination in Wuhan?

No. According to the online registration announcement issued by the Hubei Provincial Admissions Office in 2016, candidates whose household registration is in Jingzhou can only take the exam at Yangtze University.

3. The range of candidates accepted by each registration center

In order to ensure safe and smooth registration and reasonably adjust the number of candidates at each registration location, the range of candidates accepted by each registration location for the 2016 Master's Degree Examination is as follows :

(1) Enrollment units that have set up registration centers in Wuhan (except for social registration centers and other regulations) will only accept applications from candidates applying for the unit.

Candidates applying for Wuhan Institute of Physical Education should go to the registration center of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) to register.

(2) Candidates applying for Hubei Academy of Fine Arts and Wuhan Conservatory of Music must register at the registration points established by them.

(3) Six units including Wuhan City Wuchang District Admissions Office, Hongshan District Admissions Office, Jiangan District Admissions Office, Hubei University of Technology, South Central University for Nationalities, and Wuhan Textile University are social application points and accept Wuhan City Candidates who apply for admission to admissions units outside the province and its surrounding areas (Xiaogan, Xianning, etc.) and candidates who apply for admission to admissions units that do not have an admissions office in Wuhan area register. Candidates in the above-mentioned areas can choose one of the six social registration points to register online.

South Central University for Nationalities does not accept applications from candidates applying to admissions units in Beijing.

Wuhan Textile University does not accept applications from candidates applying to the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The Yangtze University examination center accepts applications from candidates in Jingzhou City and surrounding areas (Jingmen, Qianjiang, Tianmen, Xiantao, etc.).

The Three Gorges University registration center accepts registrations from candidates in Yichang City and surrounding areas.

The registration center of Xiangyang Education Examination Institute accepts registrations from candidates in Xiangyang City and surrounding areas (Suizhou and other places).

The Hubei Medical College registration center accepts registrations from candidates in Shiyan City and surrounding areas.

The Enshi Prefecture Education Examination Agency registration center accepts registrations from candidates in Enshi Autonomous Prefecture and surrounding areas.

The Huanggang Normal University registration center accepts registrations from candidates in Huanggang City and Ezhou City.

The Huangshi Education Examination Agency registration center accepts registrations from candidates in Huangshi City.

(4) Candidates for individual examinations and the Strong Army Plan must register at the registration point established by the admissions unit where they apply.

(5) Candidates who apply for a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Public Administration, a Master of Tourism Management, or a Master of Engineering Management from an enrollment unit in the province must choose the registration point established by the admissions unit they are applying for.

Candidates applying for the Master of Engineering Management at Hubei Institute of Automotive Industry choose the registration center of Hubei Medical College.

Applicants to other admissions units within the province that do not have registration centers and candidates for the above master's degree categories outside the province must go to the Wuchang District Admissions Office or Hongshan District Admissions Office registration center to register.

(6) Candidates who apply for a master's degree in law from an enrollment unit in the province must choose the registration point established by the admissions unit they are applying for. Candidates who apply for a master's degree in law from admissions institutions in other provinces must register at the Zhongnan University of Economics and Law application center.

(7) Candidates who apply for Master of Accounting, Master of Library and Information Science, and Master of Auditing from enrollment units in the province must choose the registration point established by the admissions unit they apply for.

Applicants from admissions units that do not have an examination center within the province and candidates for the above master's degree categories outside the province must register at the Wuhan Engineering University registration center.
