Tent hotel refers to
I'm flustered on the road. How about sleeping in the wilderness tonight?
At the end of this year, when I was traveling in Tengchong, Yunnan, I overheard this very special place through the introduction of a friend. At that time, the whole family was very contradictory: the hotel was on a high hill, deserted and set up by tents. Is it inconvenient to take a bath in the toilet? After hesitating for a while, Bian Xiao decided to experience it, regardless of its quality.
This hotel is located in Gaoligong Mountain, nearly 40 kilometers away from Tengchong County and about 120 kilometers away from Baoshan City. During the period of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the Chinese Expeditionary Force fought fiercely with the Japanese army in western Yunnan during its counter-offensive.
We drove all the way from Tengchong to the foot of Gaoligong Mountain and circled along the winding Panshan Road, only for two cars. The Woods are getting denser and denser, and the mountains are climbing higher and higher. Because the road is not easy to walk, you can only drive at a speed of twenty or thirty kilometers per hour. I walked for more than an hour, but I haven't arrived yet. I really panicked. Why is it so far? Is it reliable? Will you sleep in the wilderness tonight? This is a problem that the whole family has been worried about in the car.
As the road is unfamiliar, we have been calling to communicate with the hotel service staff. Under their guidance, we finally arrived at a small village. In this small village, the hotel has a fixed open space where tourists can park. However, this is not the location of the hotel. We had to transfer to their bus and walk up the hill again. It takes about half an hour. The picture below shows our car parked in a small village. )
Why did the hotel deliberately not build roads to scare away tourists?
Only when I changed the train did I find the road more difficult to walk, and I could only accommodate one bus. The branches on both sides were so dense that they scraped the roof and windows. The driver doesn't care at all, but getting on the opposite side is in trouble and getting on the wrong bus is hopeless. Moreover, it is not asphalt road, but paved with large and small stones. Due to long-term rain erosion and bus crushing, this road is full of potholes and many big pits. The speed of the bus is only 5 kilometers per hour. We sat in the bus and felt very bumpy and uncomfortable. I asked the driver, "Why don't you build this road? Won't scare away tourists? " The driver replied, "This is a nature reserve. Everything must be kept in the original ecology, and this pitted state is also a unique experience. " (The picture below shows the signs set by the roadside. Are there any black bears here? )
It turns out that this road was deliberately not repaired by others, and they are not worried about the problem of the wrong car across the street, because they only have one car at home, so they can communicate with each other by mobile phone. Along the way, I really had a feeling of hesitation, hope, doubt, worry and despair, with mixed feelings, but when I arrived at the hotel, it suddenly became clear! Next, it is freshness, comfort and happiness.
The novel experience with bright future will never be forgotten.
First of all, the way the hotel opens its doors to welcome guests is quite special. Just like the "mountain king" who takes the mountain as the king, the waiter asked us to design a slogan ourselves. We shouted "open sesame" together and only heard a loud noise. Looking up, a suspension bridge made entirely of bamboo was put down to form a high step, and we climbed the stairs.
The second is the eye-catching architectural style. Go up and have a look, wow! They are all made of wood, hanging in the air. Next to it are pavilions and houses built with military tents in twos and threes. In order not to destroy the growth of trees, they will bypass trees or let branches pass directly when laying aisles. The waiter said that this is a nature reserve, so we should try our best to keep the original ecology, not "brick by brick".
Third, the layout and facilities of the tent room far exceed our expectations, which is quite high-end. Along an aisle up the hill, several rooms are arranged in turn. An aisle extends from each room, which is connected with the main aisle, and there is also a bamboo yard and courtyard door. Open the gate, unzip the thick zipper and enter the tent. Look carefully, the main frame of the house is built of steel frame, and the storage room (where things are put at the door), living room, bathroom and balcony are all divided by particularly thick military tents, which are very clean and tidy. Shower, toilet, sink, etc. It's all in the bathroom. Most importantly, the paper pumping and air conditioning used here are very environmentally friendly and magical. Seen from the balcony, this is a very open space. The mountain gate is blowing, which is very pleasant. The house is shaking slightly. The waiter said that the house had been professionally tested, and this kind of shaking was normal and there was no problem.
Fourth, cinemas, cafes and restaurants are all made of tents. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the room rate, so you don't have to order them yourself. Every meal is a set meal, and many of them are made of fresh ingredients from the mountains, such as mushrooms and wild vegetables. And their own wine. The chef's skill is very good, and we all like it. The waiters are all girls and boys from the village below. They are always by our side, smiling all the time, bringing tea and water at any time. Perhaps the local people are simple, and after the training of the hotel, their service makes people feel very comfortable.
Fifth, you can go to the "night detective" at night. They sent professional tour guides to lead us to the mountains at night to listen to frogs, catch frogs, watch fireflies and play "the art of light" with flashlights. The children are very excited and the adults feel great.
(The picture above is a firefly. After the tour guide caught it, let's have a look and let it go without hurting it. )
Sixth, you can go hiking and explore the virgin forest in the morning. The tour guide gave each of us a trekking pole and explained the precautions for hiking in the mountains, and we set off. Entering the mountainous area, because it has just rained and the road is muddy, everyone is in high spirits. We saw many wild mushrooms in pink, red and green, with red fruits on their leaves, and many primitive plants that we had never seen before. This experience is really unprecedented, fresh and unforgettable!
