Beihai city is built by the sea, with beautiful scenery, picturesque beaches, solemn churches and colorful streets. Every place is worth watching carefully. If you want to go out and enjoy a leisurely life, you might as well choose here to experience it!

Shore of the North Sea

Beihai is a romantic seaside city with pleasant climate and beautiful scenery. Flowers are red and green all year round, and fruits are fragrant all year round. Snow-white Silver Beach, beautiful Weizhou Island, sparkling Star Island Lake, Mangroves, Guantouling, Zhuhai Road Old Street, Ancient Han Tomb, etc. All these combine to form a picturesque North Sea. In addition, the air is fresh and pleasant, and the negative ion content is extremely high. It is the largest oxygen bar in China and is called "the most livable city in China".

Beihai is the original port of the ancient Maritime Silk Road in China, and the only city in western China with airports, seaports, highways and railways. It is also a well-known tourist and leisure resort at home and abroad, so it has the title of "Top Ten Leisure Cities in China".

Beihai Yintan Tourism Resort

Beihai is a must-see, with wide beach surface and soft and white sand, which is called the first beach in China. The sea water ebbs quickly and rises slowly, so the swimming safety factor is very high. It can be launched for more than 9 months every year without worrying about sharks. Walking on the beach where the tide has just receded, even footprints will not be left, only thin white sand is shining silver in the sun.

Transportation: Take bus No.3 in downtown and get off at the terminal.

Self-driving: 200m parking lot on the right side of the main entrance of Yintan (where the steel sculpture is located) (subject to facing the sea).

Rainbow beach

It is a rare geological landscape belt in China, including ocean cliffs, ocean platforms and ocean caves. In the scenic area 1.5 km long coast, almost all of them have marine cliffs with a height of 20-50 meters, which are magnificent. At the low tide rainbow beach, you can see layers of sea erosion ditches, which are very beautiful under the sunlight.

Weizhou Tang Sheng Catholic Church

Tang Sheng Catholic Church is a typical Gothic building in the French Renaissance and one of the four major Catholic churches in the late Qing Dynasty. The old church has not been rebuilt, and the building materials are all corals, rocks and lime on the island, which is very special. Outside the church, I seem to see the shadow of old Shanghai in the 1920s, which makes people feel quiet and thoughtful as soon as they enter. The surrounding alleys still retain the most primitive architecture and lifestyle of Weizhou Island, and you can feel the slow life of the old Weizhou Island.

Transportation: Take bus No.3 and No.5 to get off at Beihai International Passenger Terminal, take a cruise to Weizhou Island Terminal, and then walk or take a bus.
