Jasmine is white, and its flowering period lasts from early summer to late autumn. The fragrance of jasmine is light and long. Although it is not as sweet as rose osmanthus fragrance, it is still a little cold and proud, and it will make people miss it.

In ancient times, jasmine was fragrant and refreshing in summer, so it became a favorite thing for ancient women. In the Southern Song Dynasty, "The Old Man Countless Wins the West Lake" recorded: "Jasmine is in full bloom, and there are more than hundreds of people in Diduo, both inside and outside the city. Every prostitute must wear three or two flowers for one day, one in the morning and one in the evening. " It can be seen that the ancients loved jasmine.

The ancients also believed that jasmine was a flower specially used to assist makeup. Li Yu of the A Qing Dynasty said that Jasmine was "only designed to help makeup, but was born to flatter women."

Li Yu has two reasons. One is jasmine flowers that bloom at night and can be put away for dressing in the morning. More subtly, there is a small hole in the middle of the jasmine, which can be easily passed through with a hairpin. Therefore, "the fragrance returns in the dream, and bloom is on the beauty's head." However, although jasmine can be directly used as a cooking ingredient, it is rarely eaten in daily life. Mainly because there are few opportunities to buy such a large number of jasmine buds.

The places where you can buy jasmine flowers are generally in flower markets and flower shops, so it is difficult to ensure that there are pesticide residues on the flower buds.
