Lobby cleaning work

(1) Lobby floor. Nowadays, the lobby floor is generally decorated with marble or polished flower rock. Its advantages are beautiful appearance and convenient cleaning. If there is dust, it is easy to find, but someone must keep mopping the floor. At present, some high-end hotels use an imported dry mop to remove dust and footprints from the ground. When mopping the floor, pay special attention to the corners of the lobby and move in only one direction. When there is a lot of garbage on the ground, you can push the garbage to the background and then drag it with gentle shaking to remove it. If there are water stains on the ground, you can only wipe them dry with a rag instead of a floor mop. The floor mop will become bulky after absorbing water, and the ground will become dirtier as it is mopped. If there is beverage water such as Coca-Cola on the floor, be sure to wipe it off with a warm rag and then wipe it dry. The marble floor can be polished with a polisher every quarter or half a year.

(2) Sofas, coffee tables, ashtrays, and the counter tops and furnishings at the main service desk (the counter tops and furnishings at the main service desk) must be wiped every 2 hours to ensure that they are dust-free and pollution-free. trace. The sofa is cleaned once a day. If you find hair, shredded paper and other debris on the sofa, you must remove it immediately; if there are stains, report it to the administrator immediately and he will arrange for personnel to clean it. Coffee tables and ashtrays should be inspected and cleaned frequently; if guests use them for a long time, the number of inspections should be increased to keep the coffee tables and ashtrays clean at all times.

(3) Glass. After the window cleaner starts the morning shift, he must first clean the glass door in the lobby, and then wipe the glass and mirrors in other places. The area to be cleaned should be dust-free and stain-free.

(4) Copper, stainless steel and other metal decoration. After cleaning in the evening shift, apply copper oil or stainless steel cleaner to the metal decorations; in the morning and middle shifts, you generally only need to use a dry rag to wipe away dust and fingerprints.

(5) Walls and wall decorations. Cleaning of large areas of walls is usually done at night; stains that cannot be seen clearly at night can also be done during the day. Most stains on marble walls can be removed with a wet rag.

Every six months, the wall must be waxed after a major cleaning. Wall decorations must also be cleaned at least once every shift.

(6) Passenger elevator. The morning shift needs to be cleaned twice, and the middle shift and night shift need to be cleaned once each. To clean the passenger elevator, you need to vacuum the carpet, wipe the glass and mirrors in the elevator, wipe the handrails (special cleaning agents must be used for night shifts), and wipe the walls to make them dust-free, stain-free and fingerprint-free.

(7) Telephone. Manage telephones for public use, divided into two shifts: morning and noon. Each shift will be cleaned at least twice, and the night shift will be cleaned once. When cleaning, wipe away stains and disinfect with disinfectant to eliminate odors, and always be sure to straighten and restore the phone to its original condition.

[Cleaning work outside the hotel]

When strong winds blow, shredded paper, leaves, etc. may also be blown around. These places must have dedicated personnel responsible for cleaning. In case of rainy days, the accumulated water on the ground where guests get on and off must be constantly cleared away. The staff passages and areas around the hotel must also be cleaned regularly every shift. Guests usually stay late at night There are few vehicles and there are few vehicles, making it easier to clean. At this time, not only the garbage must be removed, but also the sediment placed by vehicles on the ground must be removed.

Therefore, cleaning tools and supplies must be neatly stored out of sight of guests.

[Cleaning and Maintenance of Marble]

Marble has the characteristics of high water content, soft texture, porous and strong permeability. When cleaning marble, you must be careful not to use alkaline or acidic detergents, scouring powders, bleaching powders, oil-based cleaning compounds and other detergents. Do not use rough, hard wire cutters, scrapers, etc. to rub or scrape the marble. Use a dry dust mop every day to prevent sand from remaining on the ground. For stains, moisten them with clean water, mop or scrub them with a neutral detergent, then rinse them with clean water once and then wipe them dry. In order to protect the marble floor, after cleaning the floor, apply 2 layers of sealing wax and 2 layers of wax.

(2) Remove stains. If stains are found on the carpet, they should be removed in time. This will not only facilitate the cleaning work, but also prevent other areas from being contaminated.
