Ottawa, the capital of Canada, holds a grand tulip festival every year from 195 1, and is known as the "Tulip Capital". If we trace the origin of the festival, it does have a legendary historical origin with the Netherlands.

During World War II, the Netherlands was occupied by fascist Germany.
