1. Create and delete comments

Win 10 provides many ways to create notes. You can click "+"in the main interface or press the "New" button in the upper left corner of the note. Shortcut keys are also supported. In note-taking mode, Ctrl+N can create new notes.

After you create a note, you can add text to it. Win 10 doesn't have too many restrictions on the number of words in the notes, and even an entire article can be easily copied in. However, copying pictures is not supported. If you need to give an example in the note, you can click the Insert Picture button in the lower right corner of the note.

Notes support automatic saving. As long as there is text input, the system will automatically save it without additional operation. This design is actually the practice of many third-party software, which is very convenient in daily work.

There is an "X" in the upper right corner of the note, but its meaning is only to remove the current note from the desktop, not to delete the note itself. To delete an entire comment, you can click the icon in the upper right corner and choose Delete Comment from the pop-up menu.

2. Color classification

Win 10 post-it notes are defined as lightweight tools from the beginning, so there is no complicated classification system. If users want to group sticky notes simply, color is the most direct option.

To change the color of the note, you need to click the ""button in the upper right corner, and then choose from the given color samples. The default colors include yellow, green, blue, pink, purple, gray and dark gray. In addition to being directly reflected on "post-it notes", the corresponding colors can also be seen in the list, which is convenient for users to find.

3. Modify the annotation format

If you feel that individual contents in a note need to be more prominent, you can modify the default font format of the note. There are four note formats: bold, diagonal, underline and strikethrough, and parallel points are recorded with bullets. The button in the lower right corner is used to insert a picture. Like the number of words, Win 10 has no obvious limit on the number of pictures, and only three pictures can be displayed at most. The rest of the pictures are automatically folded and can only be viewed by double clicking. Accordingly, the picture will also be displayed in the list.

Notes support full-text search, just write keywords directly in the note list. Win 10 notes can be found by searching, and keywords will be highlighted.

5. Cloud synchronization

Like many third-party notes, Win 10 notes also support cloud synchronization, which started the first time you started taking notes. When starting for the first time, Win 10 will first ask you to enter a WindowsLive account for synchronization. After successful entry, the note will be automatically synchronized with all devices logged into this account.

Of course, cloud synchronization is not mandatory. You can also choose to skip this step without entering a WindowsLive account and reopen it from the settings panel if necessary.

6. Night mode

Win 10 notes support night mode. The panel of night mode is dark gray, and the original note color will be reduced to color bars to avoid glare. There are two ways to switch the night mode, one is to switch manually in the setting panel, and the other is to switch automatically according to the system settings.
