Hengmou Zhengshi (よこみぞ せいし, May 24, 1902 - December 28, 1981)
Japanese novelist and mystery writer. A leading figure in Japanese mystery literature, he devoted his life to promoting mystery literature. He and Edogawa Ranpo are both among those who created a new field of Kamoto mystery novels. A series of mystery creations by these two brothers in the literary world shortened the distance behind Europe and the United States, and made post-war Japanese mystery novels have a tendency to catch up from behind.
