Zhanjiang Finance Vocational and Technical School was founded in 2002. It is a full-time secondary vocational and technical school registered by Guangdong Education Department and approved by Zhanjiang Education Bureau.

The old campus, founded in 19, is located behind Jiangdu Hotel in Lianjiang City. With more than 267 faculty members and more than 3,300 students, it is known as the cradle of finance and business. The new campus is located in Lianjiang Economic Corridor Development Zone, 50 meters in front of the traffic lights at the entrance and exit of Shanzhan Expressway, Hualian Expressway and Yuzhan Expressway, and adjacent to Lianjiang Bo Huang Mansion.
