Laomendong is located in the east of Zhonghua Gate in Qinhuai District, Nanjing. Because it is located at the south gate of Nanjing, it is called "East Gate", which is an important part of the Qinhuai scenic belt of Nanjing Confucius Temple. Laomendong historical and cultural block starts from Changle Road in the north, Ming City Wall in the south, Jiangning Road in the east and Qinhuai River in Zhonghua Gate Castle in the west. With a total area of about 700,000 square meters, it has always been one of the core functional areas of Confucius Temple in history. The overall scheme is designed by famous domestic designers.
