When was Haishan Hall built in Gaozhou Normal University?

Haishantang is located in the campus of Gaozhou Teachers College of Guangdong Institute of Petrochemical Technology (formerly Gaozhou Teachers College of Guangdong). In order to commemorate his father's contribution to the Revolution of 1911, Huasheng Liang, the son of Liang Haishan and a famous anti-Japanese, founded Haishan Middle School and Haishantang in Gaozhou in 34 years of the Republic of China, which revitalized local education and saved talents for the country. Haishan Middle School founded by Huasheng Liang was merged into Maoming No.1 Middle School after liberation. The original site of Haishan Middle School was used by Guangdong Gaozhou Normal School, which was formed by the merger of Maoming Normal School and Guangdong Gaozhou Women's Normal School. The original school building of Haishan Middle School was later accepted by normal colleges, among which the classrooms and dormitories have already been updated, and only Haishantang has been preserved for a long time. The church has been repaired many times, and was overhauled twice in 197 1 year and 1989. On the occasion of the eightieth anniversary of the founding of 20 10 Normal University, Gaozhou Normal University rebuilt Haishantang at the request of many alumni of Normal University. The rebuilt "Haishan Hall" has become the main place for teachers and students to meet and perform in Gaozhou Normal University.

Haishantang covers an area of 765 square meters and is made of brick and wood structure, which is divided into three parts: front, middle and back. The front building has two floors, which is a room structure with the word "concave" symmetrical left and right. There are three doors on the ground floor, a few meters above the second floor as memorial tablets, and the three characters "Haishantang" are carved in gray. The hall is in the middle and the stage is behind. Haishantang is a historical trace of witnessing the democratic revolution and has certain historical commemorative value.
