Ji Yun's Notes on Yuewei Caotang: "There are scholars in the room ... if they have something to rely on, they dare to take risks."

Seven or eight times, he jumped over the roof in one jump. Later, when he passed through Ling Du Town, he met a friend and invited him to the hotel by the bridge for a drink. When they had a good drink, they stood on the river bank together. The friend said, "Can you cross the river?" He jumped out and crouched by the river. His friend waved him back and jumped back to the river bank. His foot just stepped on the shore, but the river bank collapsed. There are cracks in the steep part of the water. When he accidentally stepped on it, he didn't see the riverbank collapse about two feet, so the man fell into the river and followed Shui Piao. He has never been familiar with water. He jumped only a few feet from the center of the river, but he was able to go up vertically, but he couldn't get close to the shore. He still fell into the water. He repeated this several times and finally drowned. Probably there is no greater hidden danger in the world than dependence. In the final analysis, relying on money is due to the decline of money, relying on power is due to the decline of power, relying on wisdom is due to the decline of wisdom, and relying on strength is due to the decline of power. The reason why you dare to take risks with something to rely on.
