Dalian self-guided travel record
I have long heard about the beauty and grandeur of Dalian. The tolerance and generosity of the people, the pleasant climate of Dalian, etc., all of which made me decide to spend my vacation this year visiting Dalian. A family of three boarded the T132 train from Shanghai to Dalian at 15:24 on July 4. The arrival time was at 15:34 on the 5th. When choosing to take the train, one factor was physical factors (not suitable for flying), Secondly, bringing children is of course for safety. Anyway, you have plenty of time. However, if you want to take this train, it is not easy. You have to book a ticket early, otherwise you won’t be able to buy it. I almost didn’t buy this ticket. I originally wanted to take it on the 3rd. I left, but I ran out of tickets, so I had to buy the No. 4 ticket, and there was no lower berth, so I had to buy the middle berth. The tickets were booked online through the national network, and sometimes the tickets were only a few minutes away.
This train was delayed by 3 hours and 50 minutes. It was already past 7pm when we arrived in Dalian. Alas, we originally planned to go to Bangchui Island, but now we have to settle down first. Fortunately, our relatives and friends in Dalian took us to Litrain The Hongding Hotel on Zhansanzhan Road is on Yangtze River Road. The store's appearance is not very good. After getting on the elevator and entering the room, I found that all the facilities are very good. The standard room of 30 square meters is big enough and the hot water supply is good. Air conditioning and color TV are priced at 130 yuan a day. It's really good. It's close to the train station and there is a tram to the train station below. There is a business center near the Dalian train station! The earliest tramcar in Dalian was built by the Japanese, and it is now preserved as a sight in Dalian. It was getting dark, so I found a small restaurant in the main building of the hotel to eat some seafood and order a few dishes. Friends chatted and ate, and settled it for 100 yuan. I was really tired and it was already 10 o'clock after I finished eating. Before coming to Dalian, I read a lot of websites about Dalian. I had already booked the itinerary by myself. For a self-guided tour, what you want is freedom. Early on the morning of the 6th, I went to the train station to buy a return ticket for July 10th, but I still couldn’t buy a lower berth. After breakfast
I took a taxi and went straight to Bangchui Island. Originally, this scene was scheduled for the afternoon of the 5th. Because the train was delayed, I went early on the 6th. I was in a hurry and the beach here was not very good. The coastline is not long, it is full of rocks, and there is no beach at all. The scenery on the island is very good, and it is lush and green. Fortunately, it is quiet and there are few people. I regret not spending more time here. I happened to meet a taxi (it's hard to get a taxi here), so I took a taxi and went to Hutan Park. The road was quite far, and there were a lot of people here. I queued up at the gate to buy tickets. The ticket was 10 yuan. I thought It was 90 yuan to go to the Polar Museum, but I was told that instead of just buying the polar museum ticket, a package ticket with the polar area was 140 yuan (free of park admission) to visit the Polar Aquarium and Coral Museum. I had no choice but to buy a package ticket, and it was almost time to enter the park. At 11 o'clock, it's time for the animal show at the Polar Museum. There is also a ticket window at the entrance of the Polar Museum. You can buy it individually for 90 yuan. I am impatient and bad. If I had known better, I would not have bought the package ticket. The Polar Museum is really good and worth a visit, especially the three tickets. The big polar bear and the beluga whale were really visible, maybe it was too hot. The polar bear jumped into the pool and was right in front of us through the glass. It was really a giant! After leaving the Polar Museum, there were several large statues in the park. My 7-year-old daughter was very happy. She climbed up and down, posing and took many photos. She just missed the tiger statues (did not see them). It was almost 2 o'clock when we arrived at the park. We took a taxi to Tiantian Fishing Port, which seemed to be the one on Xinkai Street. It was late and we were the only ones eating. We ordered shrimp, scallops, boss fish, clams, etc. Anyway, when we checked out, the waiter was there I handwritten 131 yuan on the paper and paid the bill. I felt uncomfortable. How come such a big hotel doesn’t even have bill details? Although the price is not expensive, you have to pay for it. When I was tired, I went back to the hotel and put the child to bed. She took a nap at home every day. By the way, the child suddenly had a fever two days before going out and almost didn't make it. My wife also caught a cold that day. She didn't go far and had dinner at another restaurant downstairs of the hotel. She was not in good health and had no appetite. I originally planned to go to Xinghai Square in the evening, but ended up not going.
When we got back to the car, we told the driver why we need to take a speedboat. By driving to the military port, at least we could see more clearly than on the boat, and we could also take photos. In this way, we got 80 yuan in free money! This driver must have a kickback! The second stop is Wanzhong Tomb. There is not much to say. The ticket is 10 yuan. Let the driver take you to the edge of the military port to take a few photos. Then get on the bus and go to Qingnan Bullet Depot and World Peace Park. What we want to talk about here is the world. The entrance fee to Peace Garden is 50 yuan. After entering, I found that the place is quite big, it is a Moon Bay facing the sea. There are bicycles for three people on the square. It costs 10 yuan to ride as you like. There are less than a hundred tourists. There are 4 free rides. Two of them are not worth mentioning. Their value is not commensurate with this park. The other two are water bumper boats and log climbing. My daughter is happy. The only restaurant, I was told that you have to wait half an hour for the food to be served, because the food is brought in from outside the garden, and the food is served in small basins. Southerners have small appetites, so a large pot of vegetables is enough. , I ordered a cucumber and jellyfish and a kelp and potato stewed with bones. When I returned to the restaurant half an hour later, the waitress said that there were no jellyfish and that the other dish had not been delivered. It was extremely disappointing. When she served the dish, her interest was greatly reduced. , looking at a large pot of vegetables, I thought of pig food. I took a few bites randomly, took a few photos and went out. I looked at the clock and asked the driver: "Wait a minute." Answer: "I've been waiting for that car for 4 hours and it hasn't come out yet." I thought there's nothing interesting in it! Just a few bronze statues and sculptures are okay. The most noteworthy thing about the trip to Lushun is the Japanese-Russian Prison. The 20 yuan ticket is worth the money. It shows a period of history on the ground, with real scenes and objects, which is real and touching. The journey took nearly an hour and was also the last stop of our tour. When I got off the car, it was almost 4 pm. I saw that the meter on the car cost 116 yuan. I agreed on a price of 50 yuan and gave him 70 yuan. I originally wanted to give him more, but I thought of the 80 yuan speedboat. It’s unpleasant to see warships. Or take a long-distance bus back to Dalian. For dinner, according to the publicity in the newspaper, the Indian buffet at Zhongshan Hotel is 39 yuan per person, including seafood, barbecue, Indian pancakes, Indian dishes, hand-picked rice, and Indian chefs performing live performances. Alas, I don’t know if I haven’t been there. When I went there, I realized that everything tasted bad and there were few dishes. I asked an Indian to make a pancake and he seemed very unhappy. The squid I asked him to grill was only the size of three fingers. I had no appetite. I immediately went shopping in Victory Square. There are a dazzling array of clothing and handicrafts on sale, but they are all suitable for young girls. It is really difficult to choose clothes for women aged 30 to 40. If you are fat, it will be even harder to buy suitable clothes. The mall closed at 9:30, so I had to go home. The original plan was to go to Jinshitan Resort on July 9th, but thinking about leaving tomorrow, my wife thought she had to buy something. We didn’t have enough fun shopping last night, so my daughter and I just took a break. The kids have been really busy these days. I was tired. My wife returned to the hotel around noon, packed with bags, and excitedly said to me, "Do you know how I came back?" I said, "I couldn't have flown back, right?" She said, "I I just got a taste of the tram and got off at Beijing Street Station. It was right in front of the hotel. I also discovered that after leaving the hotel, there is a teahouse 30 meters towards the train station called Xizihe Teahouse. Why don’t we go there in the afternoon? Then go sit for a while, I'm really tired." Well, it's rare to have time to go to the teahouse, even if it's an entertainment project in Dalian. I walked for three minutes from the Hongding Hotel to this teahouse. It has a small front and is located on the second floor. After going upstairs under the guidance of the receptionist, I realized that it was really big. The teahouse by the window had already been taken. It was full of people. It turned out that people from the beauty industry were holding an event here today. The receptionist ushered the three of us into a small box. There seemed to be many people playing mahjong in a large box next to it. It was an elegant and unique environment. The music that seemed to be there but not at all was really intoxicating. My wife pulled me and said in a low voice, this must be expensive.
After calmly sitting down, the service brought the tea order. It turned out that there is West Lake Longjing, the ordinary one is 38 yuan, and the first-class Longjing is 80 yuan per person. It’s OK, not expensive, just 38 yuan, and you can also enjoy the buffet. Not to mention snack fruits, there are also various kinds of noodles, cold dishes, fruits, soups, and steamers. Let’s fill your stomach first. The taste is really good. I think this is the best dish in Dalian. I've worked up an appetite. Of course, the drinks are paid separately. Looking at the scorching sun outside the window, being in this cool and pleasant teahouse, sipping the refreshing green tea, and the waitress drinking tea from time to time, I really feel like I'm a God. Oh, this is called relaxation, the tranquility of the mind and the tranquility of the body. My wife seems to be intoxicated by this elegant environment. She sits quietly and dignifiedly, looking extraordinarily beautiful. I think she may have found the feeling of a princess. Well, my daughter was eating snacks, walking in and out of the teahouse, walking through the maze, and playing happily. We sat in this teahouse for nearly three hours and it felt really good. In the evening, a friend from Dalian invited us to have a barbecue. We took a taxi to Gorky Road and stopped in front of a Yixin BBQ restaurant. People in the south have small appetites, so I asked my friends to eat less, for fear that we wouldn’t be able to eat. So the four adults and one child sat together in a circle. On the grilling table, I saw a pot of mutton, a pot of beef, seafood, pipefish (I forgot what they were called), white fish, and cucumbers. Eating them while grilling was another fun experience for me. It’s a real treat for this carnivore. According to friends, the food in this barbecue restaurant is fresh and tastes good. Many people come here because of its reputation, and the price is relatively affordable. My wife mentioned the Xizihe Tea House in Dalian that she went to in the afternoon. People say that this teahouse is the largest teahouse in Dalian, with a high-grade decoration. It is opened by Hangzhou people, so the tea is more authentic than other places. However, it has not been open for a long time. Fortunately, many people don’t know that this friend is Mayu. Always entertained there. Thinking of leaving Dalian tomorrow, my wife seems to be unsatisfied. Dalian is great. Only 5 days is not enough to truly experience this city. No matter how Dalian people are, my wife said she was going shopping that day, but she accidentally broke someone's mind. It was just a frame, but the shop owner actually didn't ask her to pay for it. People in Dalian were happy, and they were generally willing to make concessions on the price. They didn't care if they made less money, and the taxi drivers were also enthusiastic. On the return trip at 11:35 on July 10th, my wife actually asked to go to Xinghai Park early in the morning. Because she didn’t go there, no matter how much I tried to persuade her, I had no choice but to pack my bags in the room while she took a taxi and went straight there with her daughter. Xinghai Park, we agreed that we must return to the hotel at 10 o'clock no matter what, otherwise it would be a big deal if we missed the train. My wife is a civil servant, so it is not okay to go beyond the holiday. At 10 o'clock, I saw my daughter and wife appear at the door of the hotel. The daughter was holding a bag in her hand. She saw it was a small crab. The daughter shouted loudly: "My mother and I caught it on the beach in Xinghai Park." The wife said: I wasn't careful when catching crabs, and my digital camera got soaked in water and couldn't be used. Haha, there are gains and losses. Fortunately, the camera didn't break on the first day. It's okay. I'll take a look at it when I get home. At 11:15, our family of three got on the train back to Shanghai safely. It was not late this time. Maybe it was the excitement of arriving home. No one paid attention to the little crab hanging on the car. After leaving the station, my daughter said: " Ah, I didn’t get the little crab!”
Oh! Little crab! The little crab who broke my camera, the little crab who protected me all the way, stayed in the car after she sent us home.
There are always regrets in the journey! Next time I go to Dalian, I must go to Jinshi Beach, I must go to Bingyu Valley, I must go to Xizihe Tea House, I must find the tiger eagles and take a photo, I must go in August to experience the feeling of going to the sea, and I must see the daytime scenery Xinghai Square! Be sure to take the little crab home!
