How to apply for a Kiribati visa?

No matter what kind of passport they hold when traveling to Kiribati, Mainland Chinese citizens must obtain a visa before traveling.

Visa applications can be made at:

The Principal Immigration Officer, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Immigration (P O Box 68 Bairiki Talawa) and the Honorary Consulate of Kiribati abroad (Fiji Suva, Rose Bay, Australia, Hamburg, Germany, Tokyo, Japan, Seoul, South Korea, Auckland, New Zealand, Westminster, United Kingdom, and Honolulu, Hawaii, United States).

Hong Kong or Macao SAR passport holders can enter Kiribati without a visa and stay no more than 30 days.

Materials required for visa application:

1. Valid passport;

2. Visa application form;

3. No criminal record Proof;

4. Return air ticket;

5. Bank deposit certificate or relevant financial certificate;

6. Hotel reservation status.
