Job Responsibilities of Assistant General Manager of the Hotel

1. Responsible directly to the General Manager and fully responsible for the management of the hotel.

2. Responsible for assisting the general manager in making decisions on hotel operation and management and improving the operating system; responsible for executing and implementing the general manager's decisions and operating plans.

3. Responsible for supervising and inspecting the implementation of work tasks by managers at all levels.

4. Responsible for assisting the general manager to hold regular meetings, arrange work, summarize gains and losses, and optimize management ideas.

5. Responsible for regular inspections of health and safety supervision inside and outside the hotel.

6. Responsible for assisting the general manager in coordinating work between various departments.

7. Responsible for all affairs of the hotel administrative office, and greet outsiders warmly and politely.

8. Responsible for assisting the general manager in supervising the implementation of the management system of each department, inspecting the operating procedures and service specifications of each position, and providing customers with high-quality products and satisfactory services.

9. Accurately implement the general manager’s oral or written instructions, and actively complete tasks well.

10. Insist on on-site inspection and supervision at the front line of service every day during meal opening time to ensure normal operation during business hours.

11. Responsible for establishing sound employee files and doing a good job in personnel management; reporting hotel personnel changes to the general manager in a timely manner.

12. Visit the staff from time to time to understand their living conditions and work emotions, and report to the general manager when necessary.

13. Responsible for the management of items within the hotel, and be familiar with the names, models, specifications, unit prices, and uses of various items required by the hotel. Check whether the purchased items meet the quality requirements, and be responsible for supervising the hotel's item procurement and quality requirements.

14. Responsible for formulating and improving measures for the safety and security system, deploying the work plan of the Security Department, arranging and inspecting the implementation; responsible for organizing and investigating major cases and accidents that occur in the hotel, and making recommendations to the general manager Handle opinions and report investigation results.

15. Responsible for formulating maintenance management measures for the hotel engineering department, reasonably arranging the smooth development of engineering repairs and equipment maintenance, and ensuring the normal daily operations of the hotel.

16. Responsible for regularly checking the use of computer systems and performing necessary maintenance on computer equipment on a regular basis; responsible for organizing regular personnel to conduct training on troubleshooting of common faults and replacement of consumables.

17. When dealing with emergencies, the organization must be strict, the methods must be correct, and the handling must be appropriate. Report to the general manager or relevant departments in a timely manner, and keep written records of the entire incident.

18. Observe rules and disciplines, lead by example, strictly abide by various rules, regulations and management regulations, be strict in self-discipline, and set an example by yourself.
