According to Baidu map query, Weishi County is located in the eastern Henan Plain and belongs to Kaifeng City, Henan Province. It is connected to Tongxu County and Fugou County in the east, Yanling County and changge city in the south, xinzheng city in the west and Xiangfu District and zhongmou county in the north.

Weishi, formerly known as Weizhou, is a county with preferential electricity prices. It has one of the eight characteristic bases in Henan Province, the Central Plains textile industrial base and the provincial-level high-efficiency agricultural demonstration park. There are Shuanghe River and Dugong River in the south, Jia Luhe River in the east and Kanggou River in the middle, which meanders to the southeast, and has been remitted from the territory and injected into the Huaihe River.
