During the postgraduate entrance examination, the accommodation price of some local hotels has skyrocketed, and the most exaggerated hotel room rate has increased by more than 10 times.

I think many people have become accustomed to such a situation. After all, major events and holidays are coming, and the corresponding prices and accommodation prices are rising, which seems to be a very common thing.

Take the city where I live as an example because it is a popular tourist city. During the National Day, Spring Festival and other golden weeks, the accommodation prices of hotels and homestays will double, 2-3 times higher than usual, and it is often hard to find a room.

I don't like this phenomenon as far as the price increase caused by the postgraduate entrance examination is concerned. Personally, I have the following two views.

First, businesses are unscrupulous. Many businesses like to uphold the psychology of profit-seeking in the course of business operation. When the peak season of hotel accommodation comes, in order to make more money, the corresponding hotel accommodation price will also show a price per day.

For this unprincipled business, they have not improved the corresponding service and materials given in the room while raising the house price.

It can be 10 times higher than the usual house price. I don't think most graduate students can afford such a high price. But in order not to affect their exam results, they can only live in pain.

Second, this situation should be regulated. The existence of these businesses will not only disrupt the hotel housing market, but also affect the image of a place.

Maybe some graduate students are here for the first time. However, after coming to this city, I was scared by all kinds of high consumption, and correspondingly I left this city with a bad impression.

In a situation like this, I personally think that someone should supervise it, and these hotel merchants should not be allowed to set the price at will.
