What is the Lan incident?

Lan's death refers to the Canadian Chinese Lan (or, English: Lan Keer,191April 30 -20 13) who drowned in the water tower on the roof of cecil hotel Hotel in downtown Los Angeles from 10 to February. Because of its bizarre place of death and a series of strange actions taken by the monitor in the hotel elevator before its disappearance, it has become the focus of attention.

Lan arrived in Los Angeles on October 26th, 20 13/KLOC-0, and stayed in cecil hotel in downtown Los Angeles. The poor security near the hotel is also related to many famous murders in history. For example, serial murderers richard ramirez and Jack Ann Twigg stayed in this hotel at 1985 and 199 1 respectively, and there are also uncertain rumors claiming to be victims of the famous thriller murder at 1947.

Some media said that Lan Keer came to California for fun, and his final destination was Santa Cruz, Northern California. During her stay in Los Angeles, she contacted her family by phone every day, but disappeared after 1 and 3 1. LAPD tries its best to find it. On February 13, the police released the surveillance video of Lan in the hotel elevator. Nearly three weeks later, on the morning of February 19, a guest in cecil hotel complained that the water pressure in the hotel was too low. When the hotel sent maintenance personnel to check the roof water tank, a body was accidentally found in the water tank. The body was naked, head down and extremely twisted. The autopsy results show that this body is the missing Lan Kerr. As the body sank to the bottom of the water tank, the police and the fire department had a great effort to saw off the water tank and fish out the body.
