Qingjiang Gallery was commended as "Top Ten Scenic Spots in the Province" and won the titles of "Provincial Eco-tourism Demonstration Zone" and "Famous Trademark of Hubei Province".
Policies revolve around tourism, funds revolve around tourism and projects revolve around tourism. In recent years, Changyang has introduced more than 30 key tourism projects, such as Fangshan Shilin, Qingjiangquan Eco-tourism Resort Island, Yanchi Hot Spring Cultural Tourism Resort, Qingjiang Ancient City and 30-degree North Island, with a total investment of more than 5 billion yuan. Authentic tourism products made in Changyang, such as konjac snack food, Qingjiang fish, Tujia bacon and pollution-free vegetables in the mountains, have become "business cards with the tip of the tongue" to attract tourists to Changyang for leisure and vacation. Take the "Love Yichang" tourist through train, Qingjiang Gallery, Qingjiang Ancient City, 30-degree north latitude island, Maji Ancient Village and other scenic spots "beaded" operation, diversified routes and products plus 5A "golden signboard", which makes tourists linger. In the first half of the year, Qingjiang Gallery's income from receiving tourists and creating tourism increased by 30% and 35% year-on-year. In the next five years, Qingjiang Gallery will strive to achieve group management and listing.
Government-led, culture-based, tourism singing, Changyang combined with tourism development, successfully created a number of cultural products with Tujia national characteristics, such as Dream Tujia, Simple Ba People, Jiangshan Beauty, and Batu Love Song, which won the "Five Ones" Project Award of the Propaganda Department of the CPC, successfully held a large-scale folk custom of Qingjiang River in Song Like, successfully held the Sixth China Changyang Qingjiang Gallery Crossing Extreme Challenge and the Second China Ba People Pioneer.
