Jiang Xinyu, located on the banks of Oujiang River in the north of Wenzhou, is a Jiang Xindao with long east-west and narrow north-south. Wu Jie was called Wumafang in ancient times. According to legend, when Wang Xizhi, a great calligrapher on foot in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, was a county magistrate, he often drove a carriage with five horses in parallel, hence the name Wumafang. Wujie is located between Jiefang Street and Fuqian Street in Lucheng District, Wenzhou City, with a total length of 424 meters. It is the most famous commercial pedestrian street in Wenzhou. On both sides of the street are 14 alleys, and various shops are scattered along the street.
