"Zunyi Hotel Booking" Zhangjiajie Huangshizhai Cableway "Transparent Cableway" one-way ticket price starts from 50 yuan

On September 1, the Zhangjiajie Huangshizhai Passenger Ropeway officially launched the transparent gondola. Visitors riding the gondola can have a panoramic view of Zhangjiajie’s peaks through the transparent tempered glass under their feet.

Since November 2009, 90 million yuan has been invested in the technical transformation of Huangshizhai Cableway. Compared with the previous ropeway, the renovated ropeway by Tibet Travel Agency has changed from the previous reciprocating type to a single-line circular type. It is safer, more comfortable, faster, and has a larger passenger capacity. It has become an air corridor for domestic and foreign tourists to and from the famous scenic spot Huangshi Village.

According to Zhangjiajie Huangshizhai Cableway Company, among the 34 newly replaced gondolas in this renovation, the bottoms of 5 gondolas are designed to be transparent, aiming to give tourists a new panoramic experience. Each transparent car is limited to 5 people, and the fare is the same as that of a regular car, which is 50 yuan/person for one way and 96 yuan/person for a round trip.
