Where to go to Dalian?

The first thing to say is that the consumption in Dalian is not low. The following is an example of taking a train.

Choose a Home Inn near the train station (answer question 3). There are two Home Inns near the train station. One is behind the train station and can be seen in the north square of the station. The other one is in Qingniwaqiao, on the eighth to tenth floor above the old Bohai Hotel. Both locations are easy to find. The Zhanbei Square is a 5-minute walk from the train station, and the Home Inn at Qingniwa Bridge is a 10-minute walk from the train station. The price is around 250 yuan/day.

(Answer to question 2) There is a Hesheng KTV nearby (located on the 5th floor of Victory Plaza), which is cheap from Monday to Thursday. As for the price, I don't remember it. There are many shopping malls near Qingniwa Bridge, including Dashang, Dashang New Mart (a large supermarket on the underground floor), Centennial City, McKale and more than ten large shopping malls, as well as Dalian's largest underground comprehensive shopping plaza. There are more than 10 bus lines in front of the hotel that can directly reach major tourist attractions on the seaside. The environment is superior and travel is convenient. Compared to shopping malls, Home Inn in Qingniwa Bridge is more convenient.

(Answer to question 1) Service personnel from various tour guide companies can be seen at train stations or in front of large shopping malls or even near bus stops. You can follow them to the small booth in the parking lot at the front entrance of Dashangnan Store to buy tickets for major attractions (not far away, just a short walk away). Be careful not to give the money directly to the tour guide, but go with them to buy it at the ticket offices (that is, the small booths I mentioned) in Dalian at major attractions. The price is cheap. Taking Laohutan Polar Museum as an example, the package ticket is 190 yuan, and you can buy tickets there for 130-150 yuan, which also depends on the tourism situation at the time. Why is the ticket price so cheap? It's because it's equivalent to the price that they would pay if they organized individual travelers into a group and brought the group in. They will take you to the scenic spot by car, and then the tour guide will help you exchange the tickets. You can freely enter the park for activities. The 190 yuan pass you mentioned above is for the five major attractions after entering the park. After entering the park, you can get the performance schedule of each attraction. According to the above time, you can organize your own time to visit freely. However, you are only allowed to enter each of the 5 attractions once. When you enter the attraction, the staff will mark it on your card. Once you leave the attraction, you cannot enter again. Taking Laohutan as an example, you need to prepare at least half a day to visit all five major attractions.

(Answer to question 4) You said that if you want something quieter, you can only choose a Western restaurant.

The papas in Victory Square are good. 150 yuan for 2 people should be enough.

On the east side of Xinghai Square, there is a light corridor behind the fishing port. On the west side of the light corridor, there is a Western restaurant - Left Bank Western Restaurant. It has a good environment and is suitable for couples to eat. After dinner, go to the light corridor to read poetry. Look at the constellations and enjoy the sea breeze. Not bad either.

Behind the Nikko Hotel in Place Democracy, there is a cafe, Provence.

Dalian Zihang Hotel is good (a taxi from the train station costs 8 yuan, don’t skip the word), on Yellow River Road, Chinese food. The environment is good and the service is good. However the price is relatively high.

Attractions worth seeing:

Laohutan Ocean Park costs 190 yuan. It is a 5A-level attraction, including the Polar Pavilion, Coral Pavilion, Marine Animal Pavilion, Bird Rainforest, etc. With a pass, it takes about half a day to visit.

Xinghai Square (the largest square in Asia) has some man-made landscapes, where you can take photos, ride bicycles, and fly kites.

Forest Zoo is 120 yuan, a 4A-level attraction, and it takes most of a day to enjoy it.

The Golden Pebble Beach Discovery Kingdom costs 170 yuan. It is a bit similar to Hong Kong Disneyland. It is a one-ticket ticket. There are many amusement facilities inside. Because Jin Pebble Beach is nearly an hour's drive from Dalian City, you can go back and forth to play more. No matter what, it takes one day

Shengya Ocean World is 190, Golden Pebble Beach package is 90, Victoria Cinema is 50, Dalian Observation Tower is 50, these are the prices of the main attractions (some of which can buy cheap tickets).

Then there is the "One-day Tour to Lushun". Lushun is a small historical town with many relics of wars, such as the Sino-Japanese War of 1894 and the Russo-Japanese War, which are more educational.

It takes two days to visit Zhuanghe Bingyugou Scenic Area (Little Guilin in southern Liaoning, a national 5A tourist attraction) because it is about a 4-hour drive from Dalian City. (I don’t recommend you to go. You have enough fun in the city first. Besides, time is quite tight).

If you feel really tired one day and don’t want to move anymore, you might as well take the tourist loop at Dalian Railway Station. You can take a general tour of Dalian's scenic spots, and the ticket price is 10 yuan. That bus leaves every half an hour. If you take your ticket, you can stop at a scenic spot halfway, and then take the next bus to continue your fun.

Super 8 Hotel and Hongfu Business Hotel are also good, and there are many hotels near the train station for 100-150 yuan. But I haven't lived there. You can take a look first, and then stay.

Well, I wish you all a happy time in Dalian!

There are many hotels with a price of 100-150. If you live near the train station, I recommend the Post Hotel with a price of around 130. The conditions are okay.

For seafood snacks, I suggest you go there when you go to Xinghai Square. Guangcai Restaurant, 200-300 yuan is enough, and it tastes good and is clean
