Sichuan self-guided tour route

Ximen Station (on Yingmenkou Road) has long-distance buses in all seasons. It can go directly to Jiuzhaigou-Huanglong. There are day trains (departing at 7:30) and night sleeper trains, departing in the evening and arriving in the morning.

Route 1: Chengdu - Dujiangyan City - Wenchuan - Maoxian - Songpan, along the way there are Dujiangyan, Qingcheng Qian and Houshan, Diexi Haizi and other scenic spots. You can purchase Maoxian apples. It is about 393 kilometers to Huanglong Temple and 440 kilometers to Jiuzhaigou Valley. This road is in good repair and almost everyone takes this road.

Route 2: Chengdu - Wenchuan - Li County - Miyaluo - Hongyuan - Waqie - Chuanzhu Temple. The journey is longer, but the road surface is wide, safe and comfortable. From Mianyang: There are buses to Jiuzhaigou starting from 6:40 every day. Pass by Dou Tuan Mountain, Li Bai Memorial Hall, Haideng Martial Arts Hall, Baoen Temple and other places of interest. The highway mileage is about 303 kilometers

From Leshan: There are also buses going every Thursday and Sunday at 8:30.

The recommended route is Mianyang-Aba-Chengdu-Leshan so that the route is not repeated. The transportation is the most convenient.
