Shangchuan Island is similar to Xiachuan Island, except that you don’t have to wait as long for the bus, because the beach on Shangchuan Island is not as beautiful as that on Xiachuan Island, with only sand and no coconut trees. But the hotel is very old and the air conditioning is not cool.

The chicken island mentioned above is even more rubbish. It is a small island with a small swimming beach and dirty water. There is no hotel and you can only stay in tents. It takes 4 or 5 hours by car, and then takes a boat to go to a bad place.

Cheap ones to consider: Shapa Bay, Xunliao Bay, and Red Bay. These two-day tours are very cheap. The water in Xunliao Bay and Red Bay is slightly better. There are hot springs next to Xunliao Bay that can be used together, so it doesn’t have to be as stuffy as the beach alone. The water quality of Red Bay is good.

Luxury considerations: Shenzhen Nan'ao Peninsula, Shenzhen and Xiaomeisha; because they are in Shenzhen, the hotels are particularly luxurious. Xichong on the Nan'ao Peninsula is quite famous. Nan'ao Hotel and Haibei Bay Hotel are both very good. Meisha and Meisha can be played together with Shenzhen Ocean World and OCT East. It is very convenient to be right next to it.

Enthusiasts: Go to a beach that is not too famous. The water is clean and there are few people. Zhuhai, Dong'ao Island, Wanshan Island, Guishan Island, Huizhou Dajia Island. Except for Dong'ao Island, which is slightly famous, the other islands are very quiet and have good water quality. They are all popular places for outdoor sports enthusiasts.
