Songs sung by Man Jianghong

"Man Jiang Hong" comes from "Dragon Capital-Memories of Lin 'an Ancient Rhyme" written by Yue Fei, a national hero in the Southern Song Dynasty.

In terms of music, Man Jianghong is a qupai of Song Ci music. This lyric written by Yue Fei can be combined with this qupai to sing.

What notes are there in the tune of "Man Jiang Hong" in Song Dynasty? It is not known at present. Although there are several poems "Man Jiang Hong" in the book "Nine Palace Dacheng" edited in the early Qing Dynasty, its mood is soft and slender, which is obviously out of harmony with Yue Fei's passionate and generous lyric.

Later, in 1920, in the first, ninth and twelfth issues of Music Magazine compiled by Peking University Music Research Association at that time, I saw another tune of "Man Jiang Hong", and the lyrics were "Jinling Nostalgia" by Sadula, a poet of the Yuan Dynasty.

The emotion expressed by Man Jianghong:

This piece of music is adapted from Qin Ge, and its solemn and stirring melody is different from the expression of the song. The melody is rich and powerful, and the rhythm is steady, expressing anger, high spirits and heroic feelings.
