Yuyao is located in the east of Zhejiang Province, on the south bank of Hangzhou Bay, between Shaoxing and Ningbo. Yaojiang River, which originates from Siming Mountain in Yuyao, has a total length of 100 kilometers, and flows into the sea from west to east, with the length flowing through Yuyao City exceeding 50 kilometers. No wonder Yuyao people proudly call Yaojiang "Mother River".

The source of Yaojiang River is located between a hill in Dalan Village, Dalan Town, Siming Mountain, Yuyao, and it is also about 45 kilometers away from downtown Yuyao.

We have to cross a rugged mountain road. The road up the hill has been paved with asphalt. From the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain, there are all kinds of mountain roads with nine twists and eighteen bends. The speed limit is 30 yards uphill and 20 yards downhill. You must be careful everywhere when driving.

Dalan Town, where the source of Yaojiang River is located, is located in the heart of Siming Mountain, and its name comes from Dalan Mountain in the town.

The elevation of Dalan Mountain is not high, the highest point is about 700 meters. Because it is located in mountainous area, its main cash crop is tea. It is said that Dalan Town has a tea garden base of 25,000 mu, and it is also the hometown of mountain cloud tea in China.

Climbing up the high slope of Dalan Mountain, you can see a well-trimmed, caged bush tea tree. There are several farmhouses at regular intervals, with blue tiles and white walls, which are located in the shade and are particularly eye-catching.

Tea trees in Jiangnan are very different from those in Fujian and Yunnan. Tea trees in the south of the Yangtze River are mainly dwarf trees. Usually more than three years old tea trees can start picking tea leaves. Tea trees in the south are mainly tall trees. The older the tea tree, the more valuable it is.

Because there is usually morning fog in the mountains, every morning when the sun just rises from the top of the mountain, thick white fog will surge between the valleys, and Malik will rush like a torrent, and the scene is extremely spectacular.

Shooting the sunrise of the tea garden in a homestay in Dalan, and walking to the top of the mountain where the source of Yaojiang River is located, it is already noon. This strange natural sight has never been seen before.

In fact, Yaojiangyuan consists of two small ponds, which are called the upper pond and the lower pond by the locals. After seeing the source of Yaojiang River, you will understand what "Juanjuan trickles into the sea". The water depth is five or six meters, which is the miracle of "mother river" created by the continuous spring water on Dalan Mountain.
