Boston club

Boston Club is a social club established in 184 1. Rich white men can enjoy a popular card game "Boston" through this club. [1] Members of the Boston Club organize and rent rooms in their clubs, play "Boston" and other card games, and gamble. [2] In addition, according to the articles of association of 1867, the company's purpose and goal is "to cultivate literature and science by establishing and gradually increasing a library with complete categories and standards for all members and guests to use free of charge." Colonel Stafford closed the Boston club. It was closed for three years during the civil war, but the federal army used it as the naval headquarters. After the Civil War, the Boston Club was reorganized. [2]
